Our Rooms faced Gulangyu, an Island and Popular Tourist Destination + We booked two rooms with relatives, both were upgraded to high floor with full ocean view. The famous island can be seen from the rooms when the weather was nice. Their club lounge provided good food during happy hours in early evening. Breakfasts at the restaurant were variety with additional options of local specialty. This hotel, however, is a little bit far from the city center.

+ Location was very good. Need more staff that understands English. We enjoyed our stay at the Marriott. Also had an excellent housekeeper that took care of our room in 22nd floor Mr. Li — his work was very good!

i am now in the hotel as a guest + The air conditioner is controlled by the hotel staff so you can't adjust the air conditioner in your room so when you order this hotel you might feel hot in your room otherwise the crew and the room facilities are amazing the room is beautiful and clean so is the shower so good and powered

Very nice hotel ! + Initially felt It is a little off site from city centre. However you can take a hail ride to city centre that takes about 10-15mins with clear traffic and probably 30mins during peak hours. After staying for a night i totally felt it was a better choice as it is away from the hustling city and heavy traffic! There is a seaport 5 mins away from the hotel which can connects you direct to the unesco famous gulangyu island. Do check the hours of ferry operations. wonderful stay + The stay was fantastic, we have rooms in both Marriott and Courtyard. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast in the Goji restaurant, we also had buffet dinner there as well which is also very good. Thanks for the wonderful service from the staffs there and in particular Monica Liao who took good care of us.
