Poor AC, great location + The air-conditioning was so inadequate, making the room so uncomfortably warm to sleep in especially during the heatwave. It really only went down to 20 degrees making it poweless against the high temperatures. For the price and being an SLH, definitely was not expecting this problem. Room was comfortable and cozy but lacked some amenities. Location is great, right by the opera and the water at the edge of the Seefeld area with fun shops and cafes, while still very accessible to the Old town.

1st Class Service and atmosphere + I was impressed with staff at this hotel. They quickly and promptly addressed issues that came up during my stay and made things right. Front desk (Leanne) was receptive, friendly, and professional. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay at this hotel.

A very wonderful experience. + The hotel was next to the lake, it had a very professional staff members, all kind and smiling. The room was extremely nice and clean. I loved the interior design and the quality of the service we got. They gave us a complimentary cake for my honeymoon which was very kind and helped us with finding attractions and activities around Zurich. Its a quiet room too. Would definitely come back again. − .

Schickes Stadthotel mit exzellenter Ausstattung, Küche und Servicepersonal in unschlagbarer Lage (2 Min. zur Oper/Se + Wunderschön gestaltete Zimmer - sehr hochwertiges Design und Materialien. Traumhafte Bettwäsche und sehr elegantes Baddesign. Das Restaurant/Bar/Frühstück ist exzellent. − Das Doppelbett hatte 2 aufgelegte Matratzen. Das Bad inkl. WC ist zwar durch elegante Schwingtüren vom Wohnraum separiert-bietet aber keine 100% Privatsphäre. Das muss man zu zweit mögen. Die Dachterrasse ist überschaubar, bietet keinen ausreichenden Sonnenschutz und keinen Barservice außer bei Special-Events wie zur Streetparade. Da hätte dann aber eine Lounge oben 600 CHF Mindestverzehr gekostet.

A very pleasant hotel in a good location for the opera and old town + A very pleasant hotel in an excellent location behind the Opera House and near the Stadelhofen train station. Go on the roof to get a good view of Zurich and the lake. A very good breakfast...and all items in the fridge are complimentary. − It seems a bit pricey as the room was not very large.
