These terms govern your use of rentoplan.com. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

Qui sommes-nous

Rentoplan is operated by GLOBERINT PTE. LTD., a company registered in Singapore (registration number and registered address are at the foot of this page). You can reach us at [email protected], and we answer in English.

What Rentoplan is, and what it is not

Rentoplan is a catalogue of property to rent and to buy, and a way to reach the people who let it. We are an intermediary. We do not own, let, manage or inspect any property listed here, we are not a party to your tenancy or your stay, and we are not an estate agent acting for you.

Listings are supplied by owners, agencies, hotels and partner platforms. We check what we can automatically and we remove what we find to be false, but we cannot verify every fact about every property, and we do not warrant that a listing is accurate, current or still available.

Who your contract is with

This is the most important thing on this page, because it differs by listing and it decides who answers if something goes wrong.

• Owner and agency listings. You send an enquiry through us; everything after that — terms, deposit, payment, the tenancy itself — is agreed directly between you and the owner or their agent. We are not a party to it and we hold none of your money.
• Hotels booked through a wholesaler. The booking is made with the wholesaler that supplies the room; they take the payment as merchant of record and they are the party you contract with. Their cancellation and refund rules apply, and both they and their rules are named and shown to you before you confirm.
• Partner units. Some partners let you start a booking on our pages, but the booking is created in the partner's own system, the partner takes the payment, and your contract is with the partner. Confirmation, support, cancellations and refunds are theirs.

In every one of those cases, Rentoplan does not collect payment for a stay. If any page ever asks you to pay Rentoplan for accommodation, it is not us — please tell us at [email protected].

Tarifs

Prices come from whoever supplies the listing and can change without notice, including between the moment you see them and the moment you book. Where a price is calculated — a total for a number of nights, a long-stay discount, a service or cleaning fee — the supplier's own rules decide the final amount, and the supplier's figure prevails over ours if the two ever disagree. Currency conversion shown on the site is an approximation for comparison and not an offer at that rate.

Your account

You may use parts of the site without an account. Where an account is created, keep control of the email address it is tied to: anyone with access to that mailbox can sign in. Tell us if you think someone else has access.

Reviews and anything else you post

Write about your own experience, keep it truthful, and do not post other people's personal details, contact information, abuse, or anything unlawful. We may decline, edit for length or remove content, and we may remove a review we have reason to believe was not written by a real guest. By posting, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to show and translate that content on the site and in its listings.

What you may not do

• Copy, scrape or reproduce the catalogue or substantial parts of it, by hand or by machine, or take listings, photographs or descriptions for another site.
• Interfere with the site, probe it for weaknesses, or place load on it beyond ordinary use.
• Use contact details found here to send unsolicited offers to owners, agencies or guests.
• Present yourself as Rentoplan, or use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you.

We may restrict or withdraw access where any of this happens.

Our content

The site, its design, text and software are ours or our licensors'. Listing photographs and descriptions belong to whoever supplied them and are shown here under permission from them.

Disponibilité

We do our best to keep the site up but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or withdraw features.

Liability

We are responsible for our own service — the site itself. We are not responsible for the property, the stay, the conduct of an owner, agency, hotel or partner, or for a contract you make with them, and we do not accept liability for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and nothing here affects the rights a consumer has under the mandatory law of the country they live in.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of Singapore, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection you have where you live, and to the rights of the courts there.

Changes

We update these terms from time to time. The date of the current version is shown at the top of this page; using the site after a change means you accept the new version.

Privacy Policy

This explains what we do with personal data, in the order the questions actually arise: what we hold, why, who else sees it, for how long, and what you can make us do about it.

Who is responsible

GLOBERINT PTE. LTD., Singapore, operating rentoplan.com, decides what is collected here and why. Write to [email protected] about anything on this page.

What we collect

• What you type into a form: your name, email address and telephone number, the dates and the property you are asking about, and anything you write in a message.
• Your account, where you have one: the email address it is tied to, your language, and the bookings and enquiries made with it.
• What you look at: which listings you opened, for how long, how many photographs you looked at, the language of the page and the country your connection comes from. This is tied to a random identifier stored in your browser, not to your name, unless you are signed in.
• What you save: favourites, saved searches, reviews and ratings.
• Technical records: your IP address, browser and device type, and the time of each request, kept in server and security logs.
• A record of the consent you gave — the exact wording shown to you, the language, the time, and the address you gave it from. It exists so that we can show what you agreed to, and it is kept for that reason alone.

We do not ask for and do not want passport numbers, card numbers or any other document number. Do not send them to us; if a listing asks you to send documents, that is between you and the owner, not through us.

Why, and on what basis

• To pass your enquiry to the owner, agency, hotel or partner so that they can answer you and arrange the stay. This is how the service works, and it is done to perform what you asked for.
• To run the site, remember your favourites and language, keep you signed in and keep the catalogue working.
• To protect the site from abuse, scraping and attack, which is a legitimate interest of ours and of everyone using it.
• To measure what is used and improve it, in a way that does not need your name.
• To send you matching listings and price updates, only where you asked for it, and only until you ask us to stop.

Who else sees it

The short version: the person who can answer you, and the companies that run the plumbing. Nobody buys it, because we do not sell it.

• The owner, agency, hotel or booking partner of the property you enquired about. They receive your name, email address, telephone number, the dates and your message, and they become responsible for that data themselves. This is the transfer the line under the booking button tells you about, and it happens the moment you send the form.
• Booking partners and wholesalers whose properties are shown here, at the moment you book one of theirs. They take the payment and the booking is theirs. Which one it is is named to you on the booking page before you confirm, and again on your voucher — so you always know who you are contracting with, without us publishing a supplier list here.
• Companies that provide the infrastructure and act on our instructions, under contract and only for what we ask of them: content delivery and protection from attack, hosting of photographs and video, traffic measurement, maps, email delivery and the chat widget.
• The authorities, where the law requires it.

Where it goes

We operate from Singapore, our servers and the companies above are in several countries, and your data is therefore processed outside the country you live in. Where the law requires a safeguard for that transfer, we rely on the standard contractual terms those providers publish.

Cookies and what is stored in your browser

• A random identifier so the site can recognise the same browser between pages — for favourites, for the language you chose and to avoid counting one person as many. It carries no name.
• Sign-in, where you have an account.
• Cookies set by the service that protects the site, which keep it available and tell a visitor apart from an attack.
• Analytics cookies, which measure how the site is used. Your browser can show you exactly which ones a page sets, and can refuse them.
• Local storage in your browser for small conveniences: your last search, your favourites, the view you prefer.

You can clear or block all of these in your browser. Blocking the first two will leave parts of the site unable to remember anything.

How long we keep it

• An enquiry or booking, with the contact details on it, for as long as it may be needed for the stay, for a dispute about it and for our accounts.
• The record of your consent, for as long as we may need to show what you agreed to.
• What you looked at, in a form tied to a browser identifier rather than a name, for as long as it is useful for recommendations.
• Server and security logs, for a short period.
• Your account and what is attached to it, until you ask us to delete it.

What you can ask us to do

Ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to stop sending you anything, or withdraw a consent you gave. Write to [email protected] from the address we hold, or from the address you used, and say what you want. We will answer within 30 days.

One limit worth stating plainly: once your enquiry has reached the owner or the partner, they hold their own copy and we cannot delete it for you. We will tell you who they are so that you can ask them.

Stopping the emails does not cancel a booking, and deleting your account does not cancel a stay already arranged with a supplier.

Enfants

The site is for adults. Renting a home is a contract, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us something, write to us and we will remove it.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection, access to the database is restricted to the people who run it, and payment card details never reach us at all, because we never take payment for a stay. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise; if something happens that affects you, we will tell you.

Changes

When this policy changes the date at the top changes with it. Where a change materially affects what we do with data you have already given us, we will say so rather than quietly republish the page.
