Would recommend the Horse & groom if going to Chichester for one or a couple of nights. + Very pleasant staff in a "boutique" pub with comfortable bed, excellent shower & delicious breakfast. − The bathroom is modern but small but with an excellent shower but with a small step up to the shower.

A delightful traditional inn, great atmosphere, comfortable accommodation and good food + Breakfast offers are excellent, the porridge, served with cream, brown sugar and maple syrup, highly recommended, and the choice of cooked breakfast course are traditional and combine great cuisine with sufficiency, to set one up for the day ahead. For evening meals, the cuisine is top quality without being super-fussy, and the draft beers are always appreciated. − Nothing! The team is great, always courteous and super helpful, and kindly accommodating to particular requests.

+ Mooie locatie. Ontbijt en diner prima. Kamers liggen aan de achterkant van de Inn, dus geen overlast van verkeer. Wij vonden de kamer en badkamer wel aan de krappe kant en daardoor prijs/kwaliteit verhouding niet helemaal in verhouding. − grootte van de kamer tov prijs.

A thoroughly enjoyable stay + Room was good and the bed was exceptionally comfortable The food was excellent and the staff were friendly and efficient − The service at breakfast was a bit slow but you have to accept that for freshly cooked food - quality of the cooked breakfast was excellent

Perfect stay. We’ll definitely be back. Loved it and thanks to the staff + The food was amazing, staff really friendly, professional and efficient and the accommodation perfectly decorated and clean. − The room was a bit hot but this was compensated by having a portable fan in the room. So no complaints really

+ Super dining room with great art, stylish bedroom, very comfy bed, lovely en suite with quality fittings and lots of hot water, very good food − We experienced quite a few minor issues which, when added up together across our four night stay, undermined somewhat all the great qualities of the venue. Because the venue has so much to offer I think it is helpful to itemize some of these issues. We did not feel comfortable having to go to the bar in our pyjamas upon waking to collect the milk for tea in bed. I had to collect more hangers as there were only two in the room on arrival. We had to leave our table on our first evening meal to find a waiter to clear our dinner plates and to ask for the dessert menu as we had waited so long. We were told by two waiters that dips ( for olives and bread) brought in error on our second evening would be 'a gift' but it was still listed on our final bill.

A fabulous weekend helped by a lovely place to stay + Central to the Tinwood wine vineyard and in a nice village near to Chichester. Garden at pub was very nicely decorated with all matching umbrellas and staff were very pleasant. Food was fantastic as well as breakfast. − Rooms very dark.

Peaceful and relaxing stay in a well maintained property with quirky charm + Excellent breakfast served in a lovely restaurant overlooking pretty gardens. Nice menu of options with starter, main and choice of drinks. Really good food. Our room was small but very comfortable and quiet. The rooms are situated in an adjacent part of the pub, so very peaceful. Also, lots of nice artwork everywhere! − Nothing!
