Nice little country pub hotel. + Stayed here at the last minute Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice pub attached but didn’t cause any loss of sleep from noise. Good food and drink. − If being picky the rooms were a little dated but looks like they are investing in the hotel and pub. Would stay again.

Great pub for a short break! + Staff were really friendly and helpful. The pub did great food in the evening and there was a lovely vibe in the bar. Rooms were in an outbuilding and our twin room was fine. Huge Carpark. Five mins drive from central Chichester. We didn't try the buses or the walk into town. − It was all great!

Good location for Chichester and surrounding areas. + Convenience for bus stop. Plenty of parking. Comfy beds Reasonably quiet on a busy Saturday night. − One bed was a bit broken. No gluten free cereal.

The people make this place. + Staff behind bar and in the morning at breakfast were great. Dinner was good. Guiness poured lovely. Shower in the room very powerful − The bathroom looked dated and in need of updating. Bed itself not amazing but good linen. A little pricey for the standard of room

NEVER DISAPPOINTS + This is the 4th time I have stayed here and I am never disappointed. Everything is always perfect, I have never had cause to complain I would also like to say to anyone who is down in the area, go for the Sunday carvery 12 to 6 pm book in advance as they are always busy, all homemade, locally sourced produce and veggie options and a very reasonable price of £14. − Nothing I did not like.
