Séjour très agréable dans ce charmant petit hôtel + Très beau petit hôtel, que je recommande.Le personnel est très sympathique et chaleureux. Proche de Winchester et Highclere. Très bon petits-déjeuners. Possibilité de manger également sur place pour des prix standards en Angleterre. − Seul bémol, la route passante devant l’hôtel est assez bruyante, surtout qu’il n’y a que du simple vitrage, mieux vaut ne pas être un lève-tard.

Comfortable over night stop for the family. + Lovely room, comfortable beds, and excellent breakfast. − The evening meal did not live up to its 2 AA Rosette status. I had muscles were really good, my wife’s fish and chips were over cooked.

+ I liked the look of inside the pub . Did not get as far as the rooms as there were mis communications with the pub and booking.com The accomodation is not pet friendly although they advertise they are. This led to a cancellation and a 7 to 12 days wait for a refund. Not acceotable − See above

The Kings Head offers comfort and the country side way of life, no rush. + Very nice hotel with good rooms and good parking. Hotel is also the local pub and restaurant. Excellent Staff was very friendly and helpfull. A very good family-run hotel and precise that is the feeling you get once there. Comfort and relax, no rush. − None what so ever. If something was not excellent then it was more then sufficient. So none bad experiences

topverblijf! + prachtige B&B met heel erg goed ontbijt. De kamer is mooi ingericht en voorzien van alles. De mensen die er werken zijn vriendelijk en de bar is ongelofelijk gezellig. het hotel is ongeveer 10 minuten rijden vanaf Winchester en dus heel rustig gelegen. − niks

+ Het ontbijt was goed en daar was de bediening zeer vriendelijk. Het is gemakkelijk dat er een privé parking is naast het hotel, het zou nog beter zijn moest deze parking laappalen hebben. − Bij het aankomen werden we niet warm ontvangen. De persoon achter de bar had ons gezien maar een goeiedag was er te veel aan. We zijn dan uiteindelijk geholpen en gebracht naar onze kamer waarbij dan bleek dat ze de sleutel kwijt waren en we een reserve sleutel gekregen hebben. Heel comfortabel slaap je dan natuurlijk niet wetende dat de sleutel van jouw kamer zoek is. De kamer is volledig in tapijt wat ik niet het meest hygiënische vind in een hotel. De kamers zijn niet geluiddicht, de wagens die rijden op de baan rijden precies door de kamer. Er was op voorhand aangegeven dat het restaurant ging docht zijn om dan later een nieuwe mail te krijgen met de melding dat het restaurant toch ging open zijn. + Værelset og badeværelset var fint, hyggeligt og rent. − Vores værelse lå over køkkenet og udsugningen derfra larmede indtil kl. 22:30. Der var en lille have bag hotellet, som man ikke kunne være i pga. larm. Vores ophold var uden morgenmad, som vi kunne tilkøbe, men en pris på £ 20 pr person var meget i overkanten i forhold til, hvad vi ellers havde fået på vores tur rundt i det sydlige UK.
