Bit like Fawlty Towers 😂🤣 + Nice room although the shower holder was broken. Superwoman Jo was in effect running the whole premises by herself. − Bit like Fawlty Towers. Staff shortages and Indian style dinner not great. Poppadoms were good though. Superwoman Jo did her admirable best to satisfy customers including waitressing and cooking breakfast all by herself but resulted in us being late for our appointment.

Was ok for 1 night + Location, was quiet − Parts of the room was a little grubby, cobwebs in the corners, the pillows and mattress was hard. The room was stuffy, the ceiling fan was not adequate

Nothing to dislike, good place to stay for walkers. + We were walking the Monarchs Way so walked a little way off route to get here. Staff were friendly and food good, breakfast was pretty good.

Dreadful and poor value for money. − The shower was locked on the highest temperature. No way of contacting management early in the morning to get it fixed. No response to phone calls or emails.

Shower Unusable + Bed was comfortable. Food was good. − Room 1 Shower was impossible to use. Both my husband and myself could not adjust the temperature and it was burning hot. Very unhappy as the weather is very hot at the moment and I expect to be able to shower. Told the lady when we checked out and on checking reviews we see that this is a recuring problem that goes back for at least a year. It needs addressing ASAP. I would not return to this hotel.

+ Mooie moderne kamers en een pub met uitstekende Indiaas eten. Ontbijt was prima.

Good value for money + Clean and in a perfect position for what we needed − It was a lovely evening and the outdoor seating needs a bit of tlc around the back. Great situation just a bit tired looking. Also someone bought their dog round that side for toilet and let it poo all around us, bit smelly!

Lovely stay...Thank you + Delicious cooked breakfast served by Jo who was very friendly and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble! Jo even changed our room from 1st floor to ground floor due to one of us being severely sight impaired.

A good place to stay, when working away. + Plenty of parking, and the rooms are a good size. − No food available

Very nice pub, staff and food, spoiled only by 2 poor night's sleep. + Breakfast was lovely and good value for money. Staff were lovely − My only complaint was the partitions between the rooms were paper thin. We could hear the occupants of the room next door talking until 2am - and when they stopped, we could hear them snoring! It was as if they were in our room. Dreadful nights sleep. Please please invest in some sound proofing !!!
