+ Le propriétaire nous a accueilli et donné les explications . Il y avait la possibilité de se garer dans la rue . Le petit déjeuner était bon avec des produits frais − La chambre était très petite , il n'y avait pas de place pour les valises ; Notre petit déjeuner a été servi dans un plateau sur une très petite table pliante peu stable dans le couloir car la chambre n'était pas assez grande , c'était inconfortable.

Good value and easy access to Winchester city centre. + Good price and within walking distance of city centre. Host was friendly and happy for us to leave our car on his driveway both before our check-in and after our check-out times. − Very cramped room for two people. Kettle provided but no cups or coffee-making ingredients until breakfast, which was left on a tray outside our room. Good size and choice of things on the breakfast tray but it was inconvenient having to eat whilst perched on the edge of the bed in our room. Room was nice and clean but I noticed black mould at the bottom of the shower cubicle.

+ The location was fantastic. Easy to get into the city. The accommodation was small but had clean beds, clean and private bathroom. The host was easy to contact and sorted us out with what we needed. The breakfast was great and plentiful. − When we arrived we did not initially have a key to lock the bedroom. A minor issue though as the host was contactable and brought us a key. However, I would have expected it to be included initially. The room could also have done with a little lick of paint.

Overall enjoyable stay. + Richard was excellent. Winchester was lovely. Bed comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. − Very small room and en-suite. Shower week and tv remote very hard to press. Having stayed at three other band b on the south coast this same week, each for around the 80 pound mark, including breakfast, I do question value for money here.
