Amazing trip and even better people + Title: Amazing trip and even better people We had such a great trip to Dreams Onyx. The resort was beautiful, but honestly the people were what made the experience so memorable for us. Our butler, Zorro, was amazing from start to finish. He checked in with us, helped with whatever we needed, and just made the whole trip easier. He was always responsive and made sure we were taken care of without ever making it feel like too much. We really appreciated having Zorro throughout the week and would absolutely want to have him again if we come back. We also had some other amazing people take care of us during the week. Jeans and Mariano were both great at the pool and always made sure we had what we needed. Monica, our housekeeper, did such a great job with our room and took really good care of us throughout the stay. And Ishmael was seriously one of our favorites. He brought us drinks and food, checked on us all the time, and always made us laugh…

Excellent family resort + The staff are wonderful, the resort clean and well maintained. The buffet was excellent, the al-a carte restaurants good (some better than others). Pools are good, particularly the lazy river. There were some nice included extras, such as the coffee shop (offering lattes, espressos, frappes, iced coffees etc. etc.) was within the standard all-inclusive package (which it sometimes isn't at other resorts). The gym was decent for a resort hotel gym. Good mix of evening shows, some better than others, but a decent variety for different tastes. The house band who played the lobby area around dinner times every evening were excellent (and probably the best act!). Points to note: The sea is very heavy with Sargassum (sea weed) and quite choppy at times; obviously, this is not the hotel's fault and indeed they make a lot of effort to clean the Sargassum from beech every morning; but don't go expecting crystal clear water if you are a 'sea person'. Amazing + Dreams Onyx was incredible in all aspects The staff was very nice and helpful, the atmosphere was electric especially the main pool entertainment. Our room was 5114 and it was perfect we loved the location of it far enough away from the noise but close enough to all the activities. The best week was had. 10/10

Food allergy friendly resort + Dreams Onyx was great for our family vacation. The place was beautiful and well maintained. We were concerned with how our child’s food allergies would be handled. But staff was amazing. In our first full day at the buffet we met with Santo and Isabel from the Food Concierge team. He took us around the buffet and pointed out all the safe foods to eat and what to avoid. We were provided with a food allergy card to show when getting food. He would message everyday on Whatsup to see how we were doing and help coordinate dinner to make sure we were well taken care of. It made the vacation that we didn’t have to worry about food allergies. We were so impressed with that level of care and service. Thank you Santo!!!!

Jumi will make your holiday! Fantastic service! + We are here now! Having the best time & don’t want to go home. Jumi at the waterpark pool bar has made our stay fabulous! Absolutely made our kids holiday, her service is next to none, what a lovely lady! 2 days left and she is one person we will never forget! A real asset to Dreams Onyx! Can’t thank her enough ❤️ Rooms amazing, food lovely & something for everyone, clean, beautiful resort!

Buen hotel y buen trato de el personal. + Las atenciones de el personal entre ellos la camarera Altagracias, la havitacion muy comoda y amplia y el entrrtenimiento el Show de fuego. − La comida en el buffe en general tenian poca variedad y aucensia de mariscos. Espero puedan mejorar., ya que todo lo demas me gusto.

Muy buena experiencia. + El hotel tiene muy buenas atenciones, siempre atentos a cualquier inquietud del huésped. Excelente servicio en sus restaurantes, principalmente el de carnes, las cuales son cocinadas al carbón prácticamente en tu presencia. Su parque acuático es bastante interesante y diferente a los que vemos comúnmente, porque incluye una piscina grande con bar, área de presentaciones y un gran jacuzzi. Definitivamente nos gustó mucho, y excelente en cuanto a la relación calidad-precio. − Tienen oportunidades de mejoras en las animaciones diurnas y nocturnas, porque lo sentimos un poco monótono.
