+ Location is brilliant, just few minutes walk from the hotel to the tax free shopping centre; sea life restaurant is also very nice, recommend it. There are so many programs in the kids club, plenty things to do for the kids. Staffs are very nice too. Our personal assistant Winnie is so helpful.

Could be better. + Location, close to the shops and beach. − Hotel feels old now, rooms could do with a refresh, gym and spa not adequate and they need a dedicated bar. More for families with young kids.

Во -вторых, очень грязно везде, номера старые, уставшие и вонючие , плохо убираютсч а номере, на территории свинюшник, завтраки тоже не вкусные , бассейны очень грязные, море с большими волнами. Хотели покататься на лодочках в итоге не успели попасть за 3 дня . Записи ограничены . Не рекомендую совсем.

+ Отличная история с клубным лаунджем, всегда можно что-то перекусить. Ресторан с аквариумом не понравился, просто шведский стол. Хороший бассейн, шезлонги всегда были, на море не купались, красный флаг. Дьюти фри рядом, для отдыха и шопинга самое то.

Luxury stay at Haitang Bay + The staff were lovely to us. The hotel facilities are amazing. We loved the view from the room and having a bathtub on the balcony felt extra special. The room contained so many facilities, right down to the drinks in the fridge and all the toiletries. − Family of 5 Australians and we paid an extra >$100 AUD per night for a foldaway bed for our 12 year old, which is fine, but then the hotel would only give us 4 bath towels. Every day we would have to ask for another towel but would end up with a bath mat, which then meant we would have to walk down to reception and ask again. It would be great if notes were made for our booking that we need 5 towels each day. We also think the hotel needs to do more to promote their restaurants. Maybe offer guests a 10% voucher, a free drink or something to get them in there. We dined at Aqua, the breakfast buffet and the restaurant near the beach - which we only found by accident. Especially for guests like us that …

Sanya Haitang Bay is a best place for the 1st impression of China + We spent a week In the Intercontinental Sanya Haitang Bay. The room exceeded our expectations, was nice, huge and clean. The wooden decorations made atmosphere. From checking in we've got permanent help from Nomad. We really appreciated his effort. The view from the room is exceptional. Our daughter loved the swimming pool. The breakfast was with good variety of food. − We paid in advance for everyday dinner in the hotel. I would recommend to not do that during the rainy season. It's better to have more options in a la carte menu.

Not Up to Global Luxury Standards + The rooms are big and nicely laid out—especially the shower allowing you to look out onto the grounds, the ocean, and all the way to the horizon. The balcony is spacious and very private. The breakfasts are incredible and all the facilities are generally well laid out and nicely kept. The housekeeping staff was lovely and attentive, and the bed very comfortable. − It’s starting to show its age some, and the humidity wreaks havoc on the interior spaces since they all have a lot of wood. The room had a bit of a musty smell that I just sort of got used to. The “adults” pool had multiple children in/around it each time I was there. The kids pool also had multiple children—obviously—but that’s also where the one, mostly unstaffed bar is. If your express goal is to lay on a Bali bed while doting staff bring you well prepared cocktails in a tropical paradise, you simply will not find that here.
