Great, peaceful location + I live in Shanghai so the tranquil location of this hotel was the biggest draw. After checking in we had a nice 2 hour walk in the nearby forest. I found the service to be sufficient but nothing above average. The reception staff during checkin & checkout were serious, polite but not really warm or friendly. They did not offer any extra information or promote any of their facilities. The room was very spacious & comfortable. We tried their indoor pool in the evening around 6pm. The water was clean with the area well maintained. Unfortunately, the sauna wasn't switched on. The buffet breakfast was fine with a range of Chinese & western dishes. I would return if I needed another weekend getaway.

Winter in Hangzhou + The staff were very attentive and helpful, and had taken the extra mile to assist us with the room arrangements that enables us to have a wonderful stay at the hotel. We arrived very late, after midnight but the staff were there waiting for us to help with speedy checkin. Also, special thks to miss Taylor for making the prior arrangements and assistance with our booking and hotel transport. .

Unpleasant and disappointed experience + My friends and I are currently staying in this hotel for New Year celebration and we were thrilled that the service provided by the buffet dinner tonight 12/31/2017 was terribly not met the standard of a five star hotel. We saw the campaign of buffet dinner for in-house guest tonight and my friends made the reservation to secure the table from front desk. At 18:30, we approached to the buffet, but were informed that all the seats were taken and they have implemented extra table from catering outside the restaurant which feels like a night market but not a five star resort. We can understand the hotel trying to run up higher revenue in this special event, but guest experience should be the priority and I believe the hotel did nothing but only for the profits. It’s funny that the “Manager” from the buffet called Jack Li did not provide any thoughtful solution and as I’m also working in a five star hotel, I have no idea how you company trained …

Millennium Resort in Hangzhou China + My friends and I stay in the Millennium Resort for two nights, in Oct. 2017. I’ll say that it is an excellent resort; why? The first, it located in nine streams area surrounds by tea farm, over 3.4 acre lot area, full with fresh air and clear water; plus swimmy poor and spa. It is really a healthy relax resort. The second, rooms are big and bright; its size over 600 sqf. or bigger, with balcony. All equipments work perfect.. And The West Lake is only 4.5 mils away; and also easy to go to the other visit points. Hangzhou is an attractive city, and the Millennium resort makes us even more like to visit it again.

Gorgeous, Romantic, Scenic. + I've written full details of each comment below, but I want to summarize up hear for those pressed for time:This hotel has gorgeous, fragrant grounds with winding romantic paths, is adjacent to a picturesque tea plantation, has super luxurious rooms which have been planned in meticulous detail for convenience and comfort, and is quiet and peaceful - perfect for a romantic getaway. Definitely stay here! That said, it's out of the way (good thing) but has appalling and extremely limited dining options (bad thing), which is frustrating when you just want to chill out and not wait on taxis/traffic/non-english speaking delivery men to get a decent meal. If you want to eat well, plan to spend a good chunk of time and money on cabs/rental cars. Nice Hotel + A nice and quiet place to have a family holiday! Located in Jiuxi Area, many trees there. it's a good place to jog in the night or morning, the air is quiet fresh there. And we like the swimming pool in the Hotel.

Beautiful property surrounded by lush tea fields. + The rooms and grounds are lovely, the staff is super helpful and the food is very good. I happened to be in town for business along with colleagues so I didn't get to enjoy all the amenities that the hotel offered (like the indoor pool) but it was a relaxing place to be at the end of very busy days and a great spot to enjoy time off.

Wonderful getaway from the city + Booked into this charming hotel to experience the mountain atmosphere and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel and amenities. The trip up the mountain was pleasant, a drive thru the city cutting thru the outskirts of town. Getting a taxi to the resort was tough and it was equally challenging hailing a cab on the return leg from the hotel to town on account of the luggage we were lugging along for a party of 5. Room wise, there were no complaints. Everyone was happy with the deluxe rooms with its well appointed bathroom and comfortable bed. The wonderful thing about the hotel was it’s resort setting, close proximity to nature and the opportunity it gave for exploration and hiking. Hotel staff were well trained, courteous and service oriented. Perfect location for crasy hikiers + The hotel is at the perfect location of visiting 九溪煙樹，龍井村，雲棲竹徑 etc. Escaping from the CBD and high branding super malls, my wife and I can hideaway from our usual business and difficult people. The sauna facilities is relatively small. Although there is only one restaurant and bar are available with limited choice of food, the 農家菜 at the nearby hiking sites would be served as a compliment. The food served from 農家菜 are simple but fresh and tasty which is super for recovery after your hiking journey. Special thanks to the hotel manager Mr 康 who provided detailed guidance and tips for us in picking up our routings to 九溪煙樹，龍井村，雲棲竹徑. His sincerely and patients certainly are assets to the hotel management. Thank Mr 康 again for his help in sorting out our land delivery to airport when we journey home.

Don’t be fooled by the nice pictures + Nice location, nice facilities. Very local service. Full of Chinese families and screaming children. Way overpriced. Definitely not worth 1/3 the price.

This Hotel soothes your soul, if you like fresh air and green tea fragrance + If you visit Hangzhou and don't stay at this hotel, you will miss a great experience of luxury, comfort, and relaxation. It is located next to a famous mountain where you can do some moderate hiking. If you love green tea's fragrance, you will smell a lot of it because the resort is located in the middle of a green tea field. There are shuttles that will take you from restaurant to room. And the air in the morning just rushes into your nostrils and does the breathing for you. It is really that easy. My only regret is I only stayed one day, which is all I could fit in. But I wont miss the opportunity to be in one of the most heavenly resorts in Hangzhou next time I go. The hotel is a reason why people love to go to Hangzhou and why emperors and officials chose to go to Hangzhou for rest and relaxation from the busy Shanghai. The room is spacious and actually even more glamorous than the pictures show…
