Renaissance Sanya Resort&Spa + What a great experience between 17th and 24th September. We had great service from Anna ADR, Charlie and Anita in F&B as well as housekeeping team. Guest Relations team always there to help us with our questions and inquiries. Looking forward to go back in December.

可以媲美泰國的渡假感 + 園區腹地很廣，後院及泳池寬闊舒服，還有私人沙灘，很多人來拍婚紗照，大廳挑高氣派，整體環境不錯 雖然有點年代感 有重新翻修過不致於老舊，唯一點是客房服務比較慢 常沒人接電話，可能人手不足吧

Terrible! + I was recommended to top up $150 for restaurants in the hotel at check-in service, but found too much for my stay. I asked for full refund and was refused, what's more, I was told that the value was only valid for 30 days, which is a great Infringement of consumer rights. I seeked for assistance from government service, but still no response. Really shame for Marriott. Please everyone avoid this hotel.

Very pleased and perfect for couples + We had a wonderful time during our stay here. My girlfriends birthday was at the same time as our stay and the hotel kindly upgraded us. Additionally they provided a romantic dinner on the beach for two for a very good price and I would recommend it to any couple. This was a wonderful hotel and experience

Unforgettable experience. + The hotel was well maintained. Great service! Beautiful and quiet beach. We enjoyed the pool side restaurant for lunch, full of sunshine and gorgeous view. The tennis court left us with happy memory. We got updated to the ocean view room. Every morning woke up with amazing sunrise view.

酒店比較老舊，靠近海灘但會有人抽菸 + 酒店很大，但是設施都相對老舊 房間的蚊蟲還是有一些，但可以理解 因為室外的綠葉造景比較多 房間是靠近海邊跟泳池 但是管理的不是太理想，居然好多人在泳池邊上抽菸 完全打壞度假的好心情 早餐也是有點恐怖，人超多滿混亂 只能說假期間，員工還是比較辛苦的

+ We were looking for a resort away from the hustle and bustle and this was it! Great service, great food, everyone was super friendly. The rooms were a little musty would be my only complaint. A big shoutout to our restaurant server, Devin! He took such great care of our dining and beverage needs from start to finish! I would defintely go back. Note that you cannot swim in the ocean here because of the currents but it’s a beautiful private beach to walk along and stick your toes in.

Great service, beautiful grounds + We were looking for a resort away from the hustle and bustle and this was it! The grounds are gorgeous with lots of couples coming for wedding photos. The staff is very friendly and try hard to please. The rooms are spacious and clean albeit a bit musty smelling. We spent most of our meals at the Starfish Bar because of its location, ambience, menu selection and service. A big shout out to DEVIN, our constant server, who took great care of our food and beverage needs - he is amazing!

Will not return nor recommend. Also makes me want to stay away from Renaissance hotels. + Room - a little run down and musty. Sliding doors don’t work well. Mini bar empty. Coffee capsules not replenished so I had to remind housekeeping. Also left some dirty cups and some food leftovers unwashed and uncleared. Bathrobe is wrinkled and looked worn. Only 2 bath towels provided as most hotels we’ve been to provide 4. Limited number of USB ports, especially by the bed Room is big & clean. Acceptable. Breakfast - 95% Chinese clientele. 80% Chinese food. 100% wet market noise & craziness. Poor quality breakfast Bacon looks like spam swimming in some boiled water. Salads are dripping wet. No one taught them to spin dry salad leaves. Mostly noodles, fried rice, fried dough fritters, deep fried mantou, etc. Not my kind of breakfast. Breads are mostly toast and some jam. Liquid yogurts. Standard egg station. Let’s just say I don’t look forward to this breakfast. And breakfasts during holid…

+ We enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable and the facilities were clean. The pool area was fantastic. Several different swimming areas with many different activities. Food and drink service at the pool and room service took 30-40 minutes. On our first day, lunch took over an hour to receive our food. We had to remind them of our drink order and that was received about 40 minutes after it was first ordered. Swimming is not allowed in the ocean. Overall, the staff was helpful and friendly but I was disappointed in the service times. Although, this is very typical of China.

Disappointing + Hotel is dated and needs a refurbishment. The addition of a heat pool would allow for winter swimming like at other hotels in Sanya. Restaurants were limited in selection and tired. Location seemed away from the any other decent off-site dining so overall not a great location if you are looking for a winter retreat.

Great stay in winter + Due to COVID less hotel guests and very quite and relaxed our entire stay. Few steps to the beach, looks like their private one as not many people also bit far from other hotels in Haitang. We had Thai food at their Thail restaurant. Tastes great and nice service. Room was not new but clean and comfortable . Swimming pool was big and water was clean enough.

Lagoon Pool and quiet beach! + This resort has a huge outdoor lagoon pool surrounded by tropical gardens. Beach was very clean and quiet. Breakfast was ok. Free shuttle bus run to CDF mall, downtown, and Atlantis. I received a room upgrade to a sea view room from the balcony I can see sunrise from sea level.

Beach is right at hotel door step + Resort style hotel with big lobby and nice garden. Plenty of outdoor and indoor activities. Plus point is beach is right at the hotel door step. − The open corridor leading to the rooms is very run down. Looks like a dilapidated dormitory. Room is very dated. Hotel needs a big makeover.

We had great time in this place. + The hotel is beautiful and very clean. Has a great beach and a big, wonderful swimming pool. Rooms are very spacious. The design is quite simple but I like it. We tried some dishes in the hotel Thai restaurant and they were very very delicious. The restaurant prices are little bit expensive but the food worth it. − Very far away from Sanya downtown. But if you will walk for 15 min from the hotel you can find a few Chinese restaurants and small shops. Also can call for a taxi and go to China Duty free shop. It’s just 15-17 rmb for one way. There you can find some restaurants (Starbucks, Häagen-Dazs, Burger King and some local Chinese food restaurants) and luxury brands shops (Bally, Kenzo, Gucci, Balenciaga etc).

Chinese adventure + Big rooms and a beautiful beach − NOBODY speaks English. It is mostly impossible to speak with the staff. The swimming was not clean and breakfast offered a lot of options with lack of quality.
