OUTSTANDING LOCATION, OUTSTANDING STAFF ❤️❤️ + Most Outstanding because of Robert Bai who we met at reception well trained well spoken a Happy Gentleman due to a fantastic Manager who trained his staff well. Thank you 🙏 for the most amazing view and a lifetime of Happy memories in a Beautiful country with Beautiful people and of course the Beautiful West lake. Also to the Bellman who is a student but so well trained and mannered one can see the management treat there staff with respect and therefore they offer the respect back to the customers. Great view, poor check in + The room is very spacious and good quality, the location is excellent, the view is what you pay for and it’s worth it − The room I booked was unavailable at check in. I understand that this happens sometimes, it’s not a big issue. Instead of saying this the receptionist tried 3 times to have me pay to upgrade, and then gave the upgrade for free when I kept refusing to pay extra. Disappointing behaviour

Best Hotel in Hangzhou - Hands Down + I mean... my god this is one of the better hotels that I've stayed at throughout China. Although a bit pricey for a hotel within China, the hotel definitely lives up to it. I don't believe the location of the hotel could get any better than where it is situated as its right on the west lake and the bustling pedestrian street of Hangzhou. The hotel itself also offers many dining options such as Michelin Starred Hubin 28, which had exceptional services and was delicious. With regards to the room itself, it is quite spacious and offers a large sofa with a large table, providing sweeping views of west lake if you book a lake view room. Additionally, I found the Grand Club to be exceptional with its offerings. This is a perfect example of a Club not having to offer a ton of food, but just higher quality and tasty food as I found myself happily eating breakfast and dinner within the club itself every day alike many others staying at the club. Can be better with cooling AC + Location − It’s July 2026, summer temperatures around West Lake can reach 35 degrees celcius or more. We paid higher price for a lake view at 7th floor. The room aircon there is only possible till 25 degrees celcius and unable to go lower. Imagine we thought we could escape and rest in the room from summer heat but ended up it was stuffy and warm - that affected our sleep at night too even without the blankets, it was stuffy. So we had to go sit in lobby which was much cooler. The hotel technician said this temperature is like this probably due to the heat as we kept our window blinds opened, he suggested to keep it shut to reduce the heat in room - that means the room is in darkness. Afterwards we shifted to another hotel property and we were able to enjoy the nice cooling hotel room and take naps in the hot afternoons.

Complete with Club Lounge Roof access for perfect lakeview. + Offers the best elevated Westlake view. Completed it with Club Lounge access, the experience is complete. We were so comfortable and cared for that we were almost reluctant to face the 37C to 38C summer weather. The Guest Services team has been most patient and supportive with the parcel receival. Kudos. The deployment of robots also make it way more convenient and making me feel less guilty. Truly, I can tell that they are so busy as it seems that more and more people are ordering deliveries to their rooms. For any international traveller, keeping to international chain hotel has its guarantee of services. The food is really good too. Overall, thank you.

Das Preis - Leistungsverhältnis ist für mich nicht in Ordnung. Ansonsten sehr schön. Lage Top + Das Schwimmbad und der Wellnessbereich sind modern und großzügig gestaltet. Auch die Zimmer überzeugen durch ihre großzügige Raumaufteilung und die sehr bequemen Betten. Das Badezimmer mit Glaswand wirkt ebenfalls modern und luxuriös. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Dachterrasse im Lounge-Bereich sowie das ausgezeichnete Frühstücksbuffet. Die Lage direkt am See ist sehr schön. − Das Frühstücksabgebot im Lounge-Bereich und die Nutzung der Dachterrasse sind gegen Aufpreis möglich. Für die Zimmer mit Blick auf den Westlake wird ebenfalls ein Zuschlag berechnet. Bei einem Zimmerpreis von 300 € pro Nacht wurde mir lediglich ein Zimmer im vierten Stock ohne Aussicht zugewiesen. Aus meiner Sicht steht das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hier in keinem angemessenen Verhältnis.

Best Hotel in Hangzhou + This is my third consecutive year staying at Grand Hyatt Hangzhou hotel. This hotel should be a dream place for everyone. It has an excellent location—walking distance to the famous West Lake, Yin Tai Mall, tons of restaurants and shopping centers. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back again next year.

Best location ⭐️ + Amazing location, close to everything, and DiDi drivers can easily find the hotel. For me, this was one of the best locations ever — right in front of the lake and within walking distance of shopping malls, restaurants, and many attractions. The room view to the lake 👌🏻👍🏻 − Nothing, really. The only suggestion would be to extend the breakfast hours until 10:30 AM.

Ein großartiges Hotel in beeindruckenet Lage. + Es war ein großartiges Hotel. Das Zimmer in der 8. Etage war recht groß und gut ausgestattet. Es gab alles, was man brauchte. Der Pool ist riesig. Auch im Wellnessbereich gab es eine schönen Wärme-Pool und eine Sauna. Wir hatten den „Zugang zum Club“, was unser persönliches Highlight war. Das Frühstück und Nachmittagsessen waren großartig. Immer wieder gerne. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse auf der 8. Etage ist atemberaubend, vermutlich die Beste in Hangzhou. − Im Wellnessbereich und im Schwimmbereich gab es kein Wasser, was man sich einfach nehmen konnte. Man musste immer nach einer Flasche fragen und es gab meist auch nur eine. Im Grand Hyatt Shanghai standen diese immer frei zur Verfügung, sodass man immer genug Wasser zu trinken hatte.

Rapport, service, qualité prix très cher pour un hôtel de ce standing + L’emplacement celui ci est très bien située, l’hôtel est très beau. − Bien sûr. Je te propose une version plus fluide, claire et ferme, tout en restant adaptée à Booking : La vue sur le lac était malheureusement en partie obstruée par le toit de la piscine. Étant au 5ᵉ étage, nous avions tout de même une vue sur le lac, mais elle était nettement moins spectaculaire que ce que je m’étais imaginé lors de la réservation. Nous avons également été déçus par certains aspects du service. Lorsque nous sommes venus déposer du linge à laver, le concierge nous a vus chercher où nous devions le déposer, avec le sac de linge bien visible, mais ne nous a proposé aucune aide. Nous sommes même passés devant lui et avons essayé de traduire la pancarte posée sur le bureau, car rien n’indiquait clairement en anglais qu’il s’agissait de la conciergerie, et la traduction prêtait à confusion. Heureusement, un autre membre du personne…
