Location & view + Fab location at the south end of the Bund with amazing views from the room and rooftop bar (took so many photos!). I had a room at the side so the view was straight down the Bund but you may prefer one on the river side to have a better view of the Pudong skyscrapers. Eclectic room design and furnishings, which I liked. The view and location gets the 4 stars, but other aspects were a little more 3 star, e.g. not very friendly reception staff, no concierge (that I saw), no lobby bar or cafe, breakfast was good but not special, and there was a need of some upgrading in some areas. But was only there 2 nights and recommend overall.

Nice Hotel, Great Location! + The rooms are very nice and a bit quirky. The views on the river side are stunning and a must if you stay at this location. I even leave my curtains and blinds open all night. − The lift entrances on all floors are far too dark and you can often miss your lift door opening. The reception area is looking a bit tired now and needs a face lift as does the balcony bar which is in urgent need of an upgrade.

Adequate + Good location beside the Bund and convenient for my business meetings, with close access to the BFC restaurants across the road. The bed was comfortable and room spacious. − Having stayed at other Hotel Indigos I like the concept of each property being unique and carrying elements of the local neighbourhood - but as other reviews have said this property feels quite tired now - with areas like the gym clearly needing an upgrade. The gym was also a sweltering 28c on my last morning with no sign of working aircon! To order ala carte items from the menu was also trickier than it should have been at breakfast - without anyone proactively asking you for an order or offering tea or coffee when seated. Service levels could be raised.

Nice Hotel Great Location! + Location is amazing and the rooms are nice with spectacular views on the river side! − Always slow check in, the lobby is very dated! The bar balcony badly needs refurbishing and the bar staff not friendly at all!
