Lovely property! Could be more fun for the pool. + It’s overall a wonderful hotel, however some hospitality issues in comparison to other W hotels: rooms are slightly smaller and they have little to no storage. One thing that we found odd was the lack of food options around the pool. We could not order any drinks or food around the outdoor pool which was a bit less fun than the other Ws, all in all, staff was great! − Pool it’s not for leisure. It’s great for sport but lacks the fun bits of all Ws

A stay to remember + The room had the best view of the Bund! The bed was extremely comfortable and the breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options including sweet and savory dishes, as well as both Asian and Western choices. The metro station is very close to the hotel, and there is also a 7-Eleven right next door, which is very convenient. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. A special thank you to Claire, who made our trip truly unforgettable. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel! − This was absolutely not the hotel’s fault, but simply due to the weather. It rained a lot during our stay in Shanghai and the window glass was not perfectly clean because it still had some rain marks on it. I would like to emphasize that this is not the hotel’s responsibility, as heavy rain can easily leave marks between cleanings.
