+ Erg behulpzaam en vriendelijk personeel. Mooie kamers en prachtig uitzicht over de zee − Ver op de heuvel, maar je werd wel naar beneden gebracht met de auto van het hotel

Wonderful villas in a truly stunning location. + Fantastic spacious villa in the hills between Lamai and Chaweng. It's somewhat secluded but that makes for a nice quiet stay away from the busy areas. The view over the sea is spectacular. Staff is very friendly and helpful with any request. Highly recommended. − The facilities on premise are a bit limited which means you have to take a transport to the busier parts of the island. As taxis tend to be expensive this is sometimes inconvenient. Free transport is provided to the 2 nearest beaches but further out is charged. Because the hill is so steep not every taxi can get up and it is generally safer to go with the options provided by the resort.

You’ll cry when it’s time to leave!! + The villa offers beautiful, expansive views of the sea. It can comfortably accommodate three couples, with separate sleeping areas for each couple. You can also order delicious food from a nearby restaurant and have it delivered directly to the villa. − The villa is located at the top of a hill, so it’s not suitable for guests who don’t have a car.

We absolutely loved our 7 night stay in ‘Lotus’ Villa + This place has the most amazing setting with stunning views. The 2 bedroom villa, ‘Lotus’ is huge with so much space for 3 of us to enjoy. We personally felt this villa had the best view and got the sun on the balcony terrace all day. Lots of nice touches around the villa with an unbelievable amount of storage. We didn’t have our own pool but overlooked the shared infinity pool which was pretty much empty whilst we were there. If you are looking for a party vibe this isn’t the place for you, but if you want a peaceful, quiet setting this is the place! We did have to spend more of our budget than planned on taxis ( both the incredibly reliable hotel shuttle and Grab) but Thailand is pretty cheap elsewhere so not a major issue. I would definitely stay here again if I went back to Koh Samui. − Obviously it’s on top of a steep hill which means walking anywhere is not possible.

Amazing stay, beautiful views and fantastic staff + Brilliant stay. Luxurious accommodation- having a private pool with stunning views was amazing. Being away from the main beaches of Chaweng and Lamai was a quiet haven but beaches easily accessible by the hotel shuttle (for small fare) or Grab. Onsite restaurant offers fantastic food and the masseur onsite is recommended too.

Echt waanzinnig!! + Het was er geweldig! Fantastisch uitzicht en geweldig lief en vriendelijk personeel! Heerlijk gegeten in het restaurant! − 1 klein nadeel is de ligging. Het is heerlijk rustig, maar je moet overal met de taxi naar toe.

Beautiful property with great attention to detail + We stayed at Sandalwood as a family of four - two adults and two children 11 & 14 for 5 nights in a 3 bedroom pool villa with sea view - and were blown away. The villa was more spacious than we had imagined and the private pool and deck were perfect. We had way more room service than we would normally as we just enjoyed the amazing views from the terrace. The staff at Sandalwood were wonderful, such great attention to detail, and what felt like personalized service. Would not hesitate to stay here again and our 14 year old is already asking if we can come back next year. − Nothing. Everything was perfect.

Heel fijn + Ruime schone villa’s met prachtig uitzicht en ontzettend vriendelijk personeel. − Niet bereikbaar te voet en eigenlijk te stijl op de berg voor de scooter. Oftwel, erg afhankelijk van de plaatselijke uber, dus extra kosten.

Lovely stay for a couple of nights. + The staff were excellent and very helpful. The bed was comfortable. − It was a bit tired but still lovely. I found it hard to go out as you have to book a car all the time. If you don’t want to go anywhere but your room then it’s great!
