Hadtien resort , hadtien hotel. + 3 out of 5 because I'm devided to half. The hadtien is beautiful no question about it. The pools , the surroundings, facilities at cetera... But: Hideaway villas can be very remote and hi on the hill, and if you don't get the ones on the trail- you are about to get in shape... not in a good way. My recommendation is to take what ever Is suited to your budget- that is close to main area which is the reception, breakfast, main pool and beach villas. There are many rooms with balcony that are in the hadtien hotel , which is different from the beach resort. It's like 2 different levels- same name (hadtien).But also in there u need to choose wisely. There are very basic rooms and there are bigger and newer with better view to the ocean. To my opinion the hotel is basic , and need good maintenance to be better. The management was informed and did all they could to solve everything I asked which was wonderful and important. The best part of our Thailand trip ! + Our experience at Haadtien Beach Resort was truly incredible ! Everything was perfect : the beautiful view from our room, the food, the staff and the overall atmosphere. We participated in a Thaï Cooking Class, a very special thank you to Baw and Alex for this activity, which were one of the highlights of our stay ! Unpleasant Honeymoon Stay + Unfortunately my husband and I did not enjoy our honeymoon stay here. We found it to be unpleasant and totally overpriced compared to the wonderful stays we had in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Koh Phangan. We left feeling very disappointed; even grateful to be leaving. 1. Conditions of the rooms: Our first room had no running hot water in the shower, the rocking chair on the terrace was broken, and the cushions to the daybed (which we had to put on ourselves as the room was unprepared upon arrival) were filthy. Unlike other hotels we stayed at, upon arrival, we received a very bland greeting with no explanation of anything in the room or on the grounds. The only special honeymoon touch was a heart of rose petals on the bed. Our view of the beach from our porch was completely obstructed, counter to what is advertised online. When we went to reception to inform them of our room condition, they told us there were no other rooms. When I reiterated that there was …

Le lieu est magique ! + La plage est magnifique, le lieu est très très agréable. La piscine face à la mer est parfaite. C'est top pour décompresser − Les villas ne sont vraiment pas d'un grand standing pour le prix. Un effort de modernisation des villas et de propreté est nécessaire. cela reste très basique.

Amazing location. Hotel rooms needs better upkeep + Lovely location. On the most beautiful beach in the island. The upkeep could be improved. So could the service. Food is very good. And the location is worth everything. − The upkeep of the rooms is poor, service could be better.

Experience at Haadtien + The atmosphere is so calming and serene. All of the amenities are very nice and seem brand new. The staff is lovely (especially Htay) they go above and beyond to accommodate all your needs not to mention the views are insane!
