An honest review! + Really surprised by some previous reviews so thought I’d leave one as I visit HK at least once a year for a couple of weeks. Excellent location within easy reach of the MTR and going to the waterfront. Surrounded by bars, restaurants and local shops and my room had a view of the turtle park. The room was spotless n with fresh towels daily n bed linen changed after 5 nights. Comfortable bed, pillows were good too! Kettle, cups, fridge, iron + board, hairdryer n safe. The room isn’t huge but you are in HK! Plenty of storage for a 2 week stay. Shower powerful. Shower gel, shampoo n conditioner provided if needed. A shared kitchen on 4th floor (which was fully equipped) lounge, dining area and outdoor seating. Staff were polite n efficient. Left luggage is in the lobby but your bags are attached together and you are given a card to collect them. My bags were left until late at night and were fine. We loved the upgrade and enjoyed the location. + It was very clean, pleasant and helpful front desk staff, the supple of fresh water, and the location being so close to metro and buses and restaurants. − Nothing we didn’t like.

Tutto bene + Ottima posizione − A Hong Kong le metrature sono limitate ma per quel che costano gli hotel mi aspettavo un po' più di spazio. Nella nostra Premium non potevamo aprire due valigie allo stesso tempo.

Convenient + Bed was comfortable and water hot − It took us some time to get the ventilation fan running. It is connected to the hot water switch. The check in at the counter using a bar code and doing it on line was troublesome. We had to abort and do it via the phone there.

− it has few stairs at entrance, now ram. The room is smelly due to drainage. At night, the neigbour rooms door closing sound is very loud and frequent

− There was no possibility for having early check-in thus I have made a reservation for a day more, but when I have arrived at the hotel at 8 am early in the morning the lady was unable to check-in us and required us to wait about 2 hours till another person will arrive and proceed with the check-in, Thus the purpose of booking 1 day early lost its purpose. Service I received was not one I was expecting for such money. Wont return to this hotel for sure.

Difficult + Good location − Booked ages in advance and our rooms where split over a number of floors we are a family of x4 . Unfortunately had an altercation with the neighbour of our boys room who verbally abused me because I was knocking on my son’s door at 10:30 in the morning . Further to this dash apartments systems was hacked and they got hold of my details and committed a fraud against me . So not the best of experiences for us

Poor value for money. A truly mediocre hotel with nice photographs. + The property is located in Hollywood Road. That’s the best thing about this former Travelodge. − The room looked absolutely nothing like the photos. I’m Booking.com com. It was a small room I could not open my suitcase and sit at the desk at the same time— I was in Hong Kong for work. The photo showed big brake windows looking out with lots of light streaming in, when in fact there was one single pokey punched window. The worst thing was the room smelt of stinky feet and mould. The hot water was not working for the one morning I stayed. I stayed one night of my seven nights. I got a refund from Booking.com and changed hotels.

Perfect Stay in the Heart of Hong Kong + I had a wonderful stay. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made me feel at home. The location couldn’t be better. Hollywood Road is one of the best streets in Hong Kong, surrounded by amazing cafés, great bars, fantastic restaurants, and so much character. It was the perfect base for exploring the city on foot. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. I’ll definitely be back!
