+ fantastic location, an easy walk to the beach and right into the heart of Seminyak for shopping and great food. There are convenience stores close by, plus an excellent local massage spot that I’d highly recommend for a proper Balinese massage. The rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds, a large bathroom, and excellent air conditioning. The pool was also a nice bonus, perfect for a refreshing dip in the afternoons.

Sledgehammer sounds and paint smell, not a dream holiday + Spacious room − If you don't want to be woken up at 9:00 a.m. by the sound of sledgehammers and the smell of paint thinner, don't stay here. It's unbelievable, but they're carrying out painting and renovation work in the middle of July. It's impossible to sleep, and even if you want to use the pool, you won't be able to enjoy it. On top of that, it completely ruins the peaceful atmosphere. Doing renovation work during the peak season is beyond comprehension. To make matters worse, the staff keep knocking on your door at 9:30 a.m. for housekeeping. They are so persistent that the guests in the room next door had to leave a note asking not to be disturbed. The rooms are spacious, but there is mould.

+ Beautiful environment. Precious room. − Staff could have been around a little more and would have appreciated a bit of a bigger desk in the room. One of the shelves was a little dirty too.

Hidden Gem + As the reviews mention, it’s tucked away in a quiet location. Initially it felt far out amongst all the little back streets but you quickly get your bearings and discover it’s conveniently central to two main streets and the beach. There is a laundry and a few cafes, message shops and Marts only a couple of minutes walk. The windows made the room feel so nice, bright and open. Kettle and fridge in the room but there is also a kitchen in the communal area with a Microwave and cooking facilities. Staff were not always visibly onsite but easy to contact via WhatsApp and there is a security station at the front. Would definitely stay here again. − The bathroom could just use a little touch up but that’s just personal preference. Everything worked as expected.

+ Location, staff, When renovations are completed it will suit arty people. − The place was being renovated. There was no restaurant or room service. My room was directly in the line of where the contractors were digging up the tiles around the pool and in it and the dust was lethal. I couldn't stop coughing. They then proceeded to paint the furniture with high gloss paint and the paint fumes were intense. The property let me down but the staff were wonderful and accommodating. I had to leave though because I became really affected. Room was tiny and there was no cupboard or appropriate hanging space. The TV was ancient and the size of a postage stamp

Fantastic hotel in a great location + Tucked away so really quiet but only a 10 minute walk to bars and restaurants Pool was amazing and the room spacious with great aircon Staff all friendly and helpful Only a short 5 minute walk to the beach and beach clubs − Everything was great
