It was a great location. + The location was great. Right in the middle of the walled city. Near the city center. Great place to walk from and see everything. Access to the room was easy. It was a local owner. − The room was different because the bathroom was so small that the sink was outside the bathroom. We had to ask for the hair dryer, but he provided.

It was okay but don't think I'll book here again + Location for ideal for the town centre. Beds were comfortable, pillows not so much. − We had difficulty in finding the hotel. No signage and only found it once we went through a door and found our name on a piece of paper. We saw no staff for the three days (two nights) that we were there.

Very good + Amazing location, views, price, and historic building. The owner is extremely nice and also owns the restaurant on the ground floor (which is an amazing Italian place). − Bring your own shampoo/conditioner and hair dryer. Call the property to get a room on the lower floors if you have difficulty going up more than one flight of stairs. The owner will adjust your booking if you let them know.

Bad + The location was great. − Filthy and worn out carpets and furniture. Small tiles are missing from the bathroom floor. Radiators in all 3 rooms that burble and make loud gargling noises all night. These need bleeding badly. 1 bedroom, the radiators do not work, so there is no heat in the room.

Avoid this guest house + Filthy worn out. Great location. Lovely looking from outside but shocking inside. Carpets heavily stained amd the whole place smells badly. Small tiles missing from bathroom floor. Rust from radiators stained the walls and floor. Radiators gargling and burbling loudly all night due to air in system. One room did nit produce heat from the radiator so was cold. Beds are horrendous. Old 1990s box bed which were blown. Mattresses were bent in the middle and should have been changed years ago. Under the beds were filthy. Very dusty with remnants of last visitors. You have been told. Go somewhere else or you will spoil your holiday.

The quadrouple room has a lot of character and is perfect for a family, but needs a careful refurbishment to reveal all historical details. The carpet flooring is old and does not suit the character of the room. The painting, skirting and doors need to be restored in historical style. The furniture in the room seem erratically composed without any consistency of style.

Aside from the heat, everything was excellent + In the heart of the historic center, excellent location, very easy to access the whole town − The only issue was that there was no air conditioning in the hotel, and we were there during summer — a very hot time of the year
