beautiful and comfortable with fantastic staff! + Loved basically everything! particularly the view and the deck! the bed was really big and comfortable, bathroom really nice and the complementary milk and drinks was really yummy <3 very beautiful walk to the beach and cafes. Also really enjoyed the book that included all the nearby activities and restaurants, super helpful and super thoughtful! Such a fantastic price per night too especially during a public holiday weekend. − It was a bit of a walk up a massive hill so if you aren’t driving it may take a while to get to ! and the room we stayed in didn’t lock but it wasn’t a huge issue as it’s fairly secluded

A gem in the making + Loved the location, close to everything but felt you were away from it all. Owners very helpful and on hand when needed assistance. Previous visitors had broken the toaster which was replaced straight away. Reasonably priced for what you get. − Being next to the water tanks and pump, the over grown garden meant the view was affected. Had to park down the track rather than at the cabin due to the over grown hedge not allowing the vehicle to fit. Had the tanks being obscured and the garden maintained so able to take in the view and also park at the cabin it would be an absolute awesome get away.

Fantastische off-grid ervaring in rust en natuur. + Fantastische locatie, super rustig met mooie uitzichten en niet ver van de winkels van Ostend en Palm Beach. We kregen een gratis upgrade naar een self-contained tiny-house en de eigenares was super vriendelijk en dienstbaar. − Helaas werkte in onze hut de wifi niet, voor ons geen erg want we komen voor de rust maar wel goed om te weten dat het signaal niet alle accommodaties bereikt.

A tranquil area on sprawling grounds. + Located away from Oneroa main village, it over looks the valley and is insanely scenic. The room is clean & cosy. Well stocked with toiletries, a mini fridge, coffee and tea. Lovely to wake up to birds chirping − Having rented a scooter, getting here wasn't an issue though if your coming on public bus, be prepared to walk 1.3km in on a hill. Wifi was not working but it's good to disconnect from technology & enjoy Waiheke's nature ☺️

Loved this place - great view, comfy & memorable quirky charm + Absolutely loved this place! Feels off the beaten track in a quiet part of the island, enjoyed the birdsong at night and in the morning, and the view out over bush and Putiki Bay. Close enough to walk to Palm Beach, or Onetangi Beach for those with more energy, and to/from the amenities in Ostend, and easy enough to grab regular buses around the island too. The unit had quirky charm and everything I needed, great shower, comfy bed, outdoor table & chairs and enough kitchen gear to support breakfast making and a tired easy microwave dinner after a long day of tramping. Comms with Charlie via booking.com app were easy and responsive, and welcomed her generosity over amending my booking. Would definitely stay again! − All was fine by me on a mainly tramping break - and probably for those also wanting to get some peace and quiet off the beaten track - to walk up/down the hill from Ostend/the bus stop, however just noting my l…
