Passable + Good location and friendly staff − The bed was covered in ants, went to sleep thinking they had been killed and woke up to them all over the bed! In addition, the AC does not work.

Very good + The marble staircase with wooden banister is the fist thing to catch your eye, then the wood statues and art work, the corner rooms are oddly shaped but large, huge comfortable bed, aircon and fan, the room comes with all necessities, staff good, great pool, location good with near by restaurants, staff was good, great value for money. − Can't think of anything I didn't like

The price is much too high for what they offer. + They had a nice swimming pool 200 meters away. That was clean. − They didn't switch off the light on the balcony, so it was very light in my room although I had the curtains closed. That was the second night.The first night they told me the light will be finished at 11 pm automatically. The Air Con was very loud. So I switched it off, but even taken off the room key for electricity it continued with loud noise. I couldn't stop it and couldn't sleep any more after 2 am the second night. For the 3rd night they gave me another room. Two rooms that they offered I noticed, that the door couldn't be closed.safely. I could open the room door easily with my nail file, although the door was locked. The 3rd room was okay then.

Comfortable stay in Battambang + This was my second stay of 13 nights at the Lux Guesthouse; last time was in February 2024. Was allocated Room 3001 initially, but the air conditioner wasn't working. Was moved into 3002 which was a better room as it had a double bed and a single. I used the single to lay out my belongings as there is no wardrobe. Large room and good bathroom. Room was serviced about 7 times this visit. Love the access to the swimming pool at the Villa Lux Hotel. − No toilet paper. If room not serviced, no bottled water supplied.

Decent stay in top area! + Bed was comfy, there’s everything you need, a big fan, night guard is especially friendly! I was scared to bother him for coming home late from the festival, but he always welcomed me with a smile. Also, I found the price unbeatable. This price at this location I would highly recommend, especially for young backpackers who want some privacy. − Daytime staff doesn’t even bother to be friendly, couldn’t find that pool (she could have showed me and not be annoyed by my simple friendly question), AC only provided when you ask several times, not perfectly clean when I entered and the curtains let light through. Plus it was a bit loud in the morning.

Battambang + It was close to restaurants, markets, handy for Tuk tuks, and bars.and you could use the pool at its other hotel, where the staff are friendly and helpful.. − Some staff seem unhelpful, not very friendly, and it is run down it needs modernized and brought up to date, the fan worked but wouldn't move, so it was OK if you stayed in one place.i won't return to this hotel, and probably give Battembang a miss.

+ Bien situé et accès à la piscine dans un autre hotel au bout de la rue. − Il faisait très chaud dans la chambre. Il y a une clim mais il faut payer des frais supplémentaires pour pouvoir l'activer.
