+ The room was very quiet and cosy. − It would be better if there were slippers in the bathroom.

Used to love this place. Hoping that since the reception is being done up, that the rooms will get some attention too. + It was clean. Plenty of milk. Nice and quiet. − It wasn’t comforting that the dead bolt wasn’t in a working condition. Peeling paint in the bathroom. No staff. Didn’t feel safe. And the bed was two singles joint, and very firm.

+ Location was great. − Struggled to find it at night as the hotel sign was not illuminated. Reception is under consideration but after hours lock boxes are behind scaffolding. Hard to establish how to get to lock boxes and I think they should be moved away from construction area. They upgraded our room from a 1 bedroom to a studio with a spa. Sadly, this was not an upgrade for us. We prefer not to get a bed in the kitchen area. Room service was a bit erratic.

very injoyable + everything was great in the room very clean and tidy. Close to laundry and eating houses. − There was no power points beside the bed I had to go and buy an extension cord.

+ We had a back unit away from the busy street so no traffic noise. Which was great. We were met by the host on arrival who was exceptionally friendly and helpful. − There was a humming noise periodically during the night which we assume was air-conditioning units coming on and off. It didn't affect our sleep so no big issue. The owners are obviously in the middle of a large refurbishment to the property which is great. It will be exceptional when done and a true 4 Star rating destination
