I thought I had booked Limerick city but we found ourselves in Linerick county. + Very elegant and comfortable.

If you are looking for a place to stay without the personal touch this is the place to go. + The waitress was very friendly and helpful. The girls at the bar are a good value members of staff. They were the only people you see. No front desk apart from checking in. − Rooms didn’t get cleaned properly every day, dirty cups and classes left in the room. Hotel very basic.

+ It was a great place to stay. We spent one night her to break up our long journey to the South West. The beds were very comfortable, we had a nice meal at a very reasonable price, the place was very quiet and there was plenty of car parking areas.

If you find it at a discounted price, don’t hesitate to book it. It’s an absolute bargain! + The room is spacious and lovely, and the bed is incredibly comfortable. No problems at all! The staff were absolutely fantastic. I was running very late for check-in, got lost on the way, and was starting to panic. My phone battery was almost dead, so I quickly sent them a message saying, “I’ll be late.” Within minutes, they replied: “No problem, there will be someone waiting for you to check in.” That was such a relief and really made a stressful situation much easier. Excellent service and genuinely wonderful staff. Highly recommended! − The bathroom could have been designed a little better, but that’s hardly the hotel’s fault! The shower was great, with perfect water pressure and temperature, and that’s what really matters.

Friendly to our dogs. − No entertainment, TV room, movie night, bingo all as said on booking.com Only served carvery during day so had same a la carte menu every night. Nothing to do in town except go to odd shop. No other restaurants.

+ We were able to have our two Lagotto dogs in their soft travel crates in our room and were able to take them with us to the bistro/bar. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Nice walk nearby along the river bank.
