Honest review from someone who has stayed very often + Breakfast, upgraded room, staff especially reception excellent, if I had a quibble, some Breakfast staff not too friendly.....rooms cleaned well, but carpets in some rooms could do with a clean, I'm talking about accessible rooms...its good value for money though when comparing prices at Southend hotels. The bar overlooking the airport is relaxing too. − Okay, bedrooms we have stayed in need carpet cleaning and some beds more comfortable than others. Some breakfast staff not too friendly.

Nice to stay in, comfortable and accommodating + Was a very nice establishment. Comfortable and very hospitable. Staff were excellent − Hotel was close to what we were over there for but was a little far from the city centre. Nothing a train or taxi couldn’t fix though

Better than premier inn just not sure the cost difference is worth it. + Bed was comfy, room was clean. − Shower was fluctuating between temperatures, car parking was a very large issue. This stay was paid by my company, i don't have the physical card so couldn't pay parking, they couldn't authorise using card details or payment over the phone. i had to pay on the app which cost £60 rather than £15. The fact i had to opt for £60 instead of £100 fine is a joke. This should have been accommodated and the company expect to be reimbursed the difference.
