Comfortable and enjoyable short stay in a friendly and welcoming hotel with great service. + Very friendly, professional and helpful staff everywhere in the hotel from Reception, to the restaurant at breakfast, the bar, housekeeping and the leisure centre. The hotel has a nice, welcoming atmosphere as a result. Facilities are very good and extensive with a well equipped leisure centre (pool and gym). The room was very clean, and quite spacious (ample space to put things), and with a very comfortable bed with good pillows. Bathroom was very clean and had a large and nicely appointed walk-in shower. Very soft new towels. The hotel lounge-bar has a comfortable feel, clean and modern. The pool was a reasonable size for a swim, and also very clean. Lots of parking, so it was always easy to come and go. The staff could not do enough to help. Excellent service throughout our stay. − Nothing.

+ My stay was great. The manager was brilliant caring and kind, love her 😊 − The new payment system messed up my payment but the manager was great which made up for it.

Not pro-cashless + Swimming pool Friendly staff − Tv in room never kept signal. I like to have it on in the background as I work on my laptop but kept getting distracted by the dropouts on every channel. So turned it off and didnt use again. Also. A swimming pool locker upgrade so they take either the current £1 coin to lock or your room key would be good. I'm not pro-cashless but don't normally have cash/coins on me.

Family Traveller + Location easy to find, enough parking space. − Toilet dirty marks i believe could be cleaned easily with bleach.On checking out i had an issue with reception staff expecting me to make another payment for an amount i had paid for my room, according to the receptionist the money had not yet credited into their account although it had left my bank account.

Disappointing. + Was clean & presentable and breakfast was good, plenty to choose from. − Bed, very uncomfortable. Me & my partner only managed to get a couple of hours sleep after a very long day at a wedding nearby.

Good food bad reception + The good food & beds Great waiting staff − I found that the receptionist wasn’t very polite. She didn’t smile. She didn’t make me feel comfortable. She also proceeded to tell me that my check-in wasn’t until 238 and obviously I shaved my book in and it said two but I just didn’t like the way that she made up a lie. The toilet was broken also it’s all I could hear all night was the toilet.
