Rather expensive hotel with a chain hotel feel but in a great location. Comfortable enough and breakfast was good. + Great location on the harbour. Beautiful views out to the fjord over breakfast if like us you don’t get a room with a view.

The hotel should listen to guests when they request a larger room and try to accommodate their needs whenever possible. + The hotel initially gave me a very small room. When I asked to change the room, they charged me a very high additional fee for the upgrade. − I was not satisfied with the room. It was too small and not comfortable.

Tolle Lage und schönes Hotel, insgesamt aber durch die Zimmerprobleme, den Umgang damit und den hohen Preis leider enttä + Das Hotel an sich hat einen schönen Eindruck gemacht. Besonders die Lobby und das Frühstücksbuffet haben uns gut gefallen. Auch die Lage im kleinen Ort Geiranger war sehr praktisch und angenehm. Einige Mitarbeitende an der Rezeption waren freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Positiv war außerdem die Fußbodenheizung im Bad. − Leider gab es während unseres Aufenthalts mehrere Probleme mit der Zimmerzuteilung. Obwohl wir ein Schlafsofa benötigt und dies bei der Buchung angegeben hatten, war im zunächst zugeteilten Zimmer keines vorhanden. Daraufhin wurden uns mitten in der Nacht andere Zimmer angeboten. In einem dieser Zimmer funktionierte wiederum die Toilette nicht, sodass wir erneut umziehen mussten. Am nächsten Tag wurde uns zunächst gesagt, dass wir in dem moderneren Zimmer bleiben könnten. Später wurde dies von der Rezeptionsmanagerin jedoch wieder zurückgenommen. …

+ Veldig god beliggenhet, med utsikt til fjord og fjell. − Ingen gratis parkering i nærheten. Det er noen parkeringsplasser utenfor hotellet, eid av Easy park. Disse blir fort opptatt utover dagen. Kjøleskapet på rommet fungerte ikke, vi hadde med egen kjøleboks så det ordnet seg på den måten. Møtte ingen norsktalende av de ansatte på hotellet, så en fordel å kunne engelsk.

It was ok and there isn’t that much choice either. + Location and facilities are good − Outdated rooms and bathrooms although clean. Costly, for the quality offered. Parking is very expensive, should have been free although I hear the town dictates that.
