A lovely setting. + The view from the hotel is amazing. The hotel was clean and tidy. Our room was on the ground floor, which was freezing. They had electric blankets on the beds, and these were needed. Overall, the look of the rooms was fine, but workmanship was not good. We had to wait over an hour for a very simple lunch. My foot massage and pedicure was very average. Location of the hotel is not very close to activities.

Couples weekend + The overall experience was good. We did not have warm water to shower Sat evening. (Did phone reception). We booked the spa, the treatments were good but I was very cold during the treatment. The breakfast was lovely, but the Dinner was not exceptional. We ordered something else every evening, but is was not a Wow for such a Top Hotel. The interior was Beautiful. The room was lovely. The Barman was Great during the rugby game, we really enjoyed him. Service was very good.

Modern Luxury with a view + Beautifully appointed hotel with a modern look and feel inside and wonderfully spacious rooms. Friendly and attentive staff. Great showers! A bit soulless in its modernity but this could have been due to the fact that we were there in low season and with only a handful of guests rattling around the large space.

Amazing! + The location of the hotel is incredible. Our earth grotto was spacious, well-furnished, well-maintained, and clean. There was even a heated blanket in the bed! The food and service were excellent, and the spa treatment was pure relaxation. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We would love to come back – we were really able to unwind for a few days!

Best luxury hotel in Graskop + Nice, luxury hotel with spacious, cleen rooms. Qualtity of the food is high level. Looking at accommodation in Graskop I do not think there is a better place. The beds are good and the linnen quality is very nice. The hotel is located outside of Graskop and if one does not have a car, it is difficult to get to the village center for a nice beer/drink or something else.

Dysfunctional Disaster + This is the most catastrophically dysfunctional hotel I have ever stayed in! No natural flow. Restaurants and bar disjointed and far away from rooms leading down long passages, flights of stairs and corridors. No expense has been spared, only to create an architectural abortion. Main restaurant cold characterless and unwelcoming. Food however was good. Bedrooms are a design disaster although very clean and well equipped. It’s a property that will unfortunately never earn a return for the owner who has a large mural of himself on the wall in the dining room - I mean who does that 🤔

Good for an overnight stop + Large well maintained room with everything you would expect from a quality hotel. Nice if small grounds. Food in restaurant was ok but breakfast a limit limited. Service in the restaurant in the evening was a little slow with staff busy talking to each other. Good for an overnight stop which we did but would not suggest staying longer

Tranquil Escape + Angels View is the best hotel I have been to in Mpumalanga. The hotel itself is a destination on its own! Definitely loved it and will back again

Outstandingly poor management operation which ruins all impression of the hotel + This is my second stay in this place. And unlucky I was very much disappointed by the level of service at this hotel: + - The hotel is beautifully located that basically the most valuable part. “-“ 1. I’ve experienced a very severe food poisoning during lunch which basically ruined my day and the next one. I have to say that hotel haven’t offered even a little compensation for loss of my time and health, which I’ve basically didn’t expect from shaky 4 star. 2. Since I had to stay another night (unplanned) due to health conditions I’ve changed to room to have a chance to experience what’s the other facilities hotel can offer. I’ve asked to bring my bag to the room once it will be ready. I didn’t happen, then I walked to reception and asked nicely. More that an hour passed a nothing has happened. The phone in the room does not have an option to call the reception, so I walked there myself and took my s…

Amazing scenic venue with exceptional staff + We arrived with the warmest welcome, their was construction on the hotel side however we were kindly upgraded complimentary to the earth grotto suite which was exceptionally to our satisfaction, customer excellence throughout the spa, bar, restaurant and reception

Exceptional Service! + From the moment we drove onto the hotel grounds, the experience was nothing less than exceptional. We received top tier service from every staff member that we encountered, starting from the moment we arrived, all throughout our stay, and right up to our departure. Wonderful Stay at Angels View + We had such an awesome stay at Angels View and truly enjoyed every moment. The staff is well trained, knowledgeable, and the level of customer service was excellent throughout our stay. One staff member who really stood out for me was Dimpho, oh my goodness, what a breath of fresh air! She is incredibly relatable, professional and always went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. Her positive energy and attentiveness truly made our experience memorable. My husband and I will never forget the experience we had at Angels View. Thank you for the exceptional service and for making our stay so special. We look forward to visiting again in the future. Everyone was on point from the security guard, managers to the caddy wow blown away love the flexibility and how everyone would go the extra mile!
