So terrible − I didn't enter the room cause the PIN number was wrong. I tried to contact with the property by email, message as well as phone call but no any answers. I was so disappointed about this experience. I am applying a refund now hoping can get a result.

nothing + location is good. easy to get the bus and train − Reception desk is at building D but no one inform this before so we have to down the lift with very crowded and have to wait so many times. Then we have to walk back to building B for getting to our room. The room is different from the picture which show on the ad. So very disappointed with too high rate for this kind of hotel.

It's places like this that ruin Chunking Mansions' reputation + Courteous staff, nothing against the staff, I'm sure they do the best they can − The shower drain not only did not work but backed up leaving smelly water that would not drain.. Thank God I showered earlier, I did not want to do so the next day. I'm a regular at chunking but this is the worst I've seen and I'm not the fussy type.

Disappointing + they kept my luggage after check out − the property name was wrong on the booking, no phone was answered and then had to go to another property where the room was not ready, check out time too early, will not stay here again

Bad + Nothing. − The location is wrong. The reception was in a different location and when we reached after asking many people and knocking on many doors, the reception lady asked us to check in late around 5.30 p.m. . My room was pre-booked and the room charge was paid. Two tired travellers must wait 5 hours because they had some issues or lent the room hourly to someone. The room as mentioned in the picture was nothing compared to it, on the top, the room didn't have AC but air cooler which made bizarre noise and vibration the entire time. Even if you try to close your eyes and sleep the air cooler won't let you sleep. We checked out the next morning asap. Be aware and be careful!!

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING! + To leave − My door was closed but not locked. In the evening I was just resting when I hear my door is getting opened! The secretary lady just opened my door without knocking or asking beforehand. I was so shocked, I asked her what she is doing, she said she was checking if I checked out already cause my door wasnt locked (door was stuck, you need to press hard to fully close it). My booking was one.more night and she didnt knock or say something before randomly opening my door. Unacceptable!! I didnt even get a proper apology, when I contacted the hotel, they just brushed it off before following with an apology. For a hotel, this is simply unacceptable, even for this one... Very dirty room. Hard to get to, its in the 17th floor and first u have to go to another building to get the key. Why?? No elevator after 16th floor. Downstairs is a market full of Indians who try to sell u some stuff as soon as you enter.
