Disappointing + Some staff trying hard to solve problems. − Title: My 4-Night Experience at Aleph Doha – This Was Not a 5-Star Experience I rarely write reviews of this nature, but after four nights at Aleph Doha Residences, Curio Collection by Hilton, I believe future guests should know what I experienced. I originally booked because the rate, including breakfast and dinner, looked exceptionally attractive for a Hilton-affiliated 5-star property in Doha. The hotel looked relatively new, the reviews were very positive, and my initial inspection seemed acceptable. Unfortunately, once I checked in, the problems started appearing one after another. First, the wardrobe had a strong fishy/unpleasant smell. Despite reporting it, the problem was never properly resolved. For four nights I had to leave the wardrobe doors open, use only the least affected section and keep much of my clothing outside. My room consequently remained cluttered throughout my stay.
