Style in Barranco + Friendly place, very attentive staff and the romance of a old hotel. Great location a walk or Uber to all the fabulous restaurants or attractions. Wonderful to be close to the sea walk.

A stylish and welcoming boutique hotel in Barranco + We had a wonderful stay at Casa República Barranco, a beautifully stylish boutique hotel full of character and gorgeous artwork. We stayed in a Garden Junior Suite, which was a great size, with a spacious seating area, an extremely comfortable bed and a beautifully appointed bathroom. The thoughtful touches made the stay feel particularly special: handmade chocolates on arrival, drinking water replenished daily, chocolates left on the bed during the evening turndown service, and no single-use plastics in the room. Our welcome drink in the rooftop bar was a lovely start to our stay—and a great introduction to a Pisco Sour! Breakfast was delicious, with a generous buffet and eggs cooked to order, served either indoors or outside in the lovely garden. Above all, the staff were fabulously attentive, friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. A beautiful hotel and a perfect base for enjoying Barranco. Highly recommended!

Casa linda, quarto lindo, ótimo café da manhã, ótima localização, porém desagradável na hora de dormir. + A acomodação é muito bonita, agradável e aconchegante . − Em duas das quatro noites que ficamos lá, fomos acordados no meio da madrugada, por fortes barulhos dos hóspedes que estavam no quarto exatamente acima do nosso. Pedimos ajuda para o funcionário da recepção, que tentou ajudar, mas não obteve sucesso.

Very happy with our stay here + Unique and pretty. Terrific location in Barranco and great for borrowing the hotels, bikes, and biking the malecon as well as enjoying the Barranco neighboorhood and its fantastic restaurants. − Staff were a little awkward, most likely due to a bit of a language barrier, but were fine.

Decepción + Era un edificio bonito − La habitación estaba literalmente en la recepción del hotel, me separaba del conserje una puerta fina a escasos dos metros del mostrador,oyendo todo y sintiendo como que el recepcionista oiría todo lo que sucediese en la habitación. La puerta no cerraba con llave. Tuve que irme a cenar dejando la puerta sin cerrar y dejando la llave al recepcionista. El secador no funcionaba. Cuando dije que tenía que dejar el hotel a las 5:50 para coger mi avión y que no podía hacer uso del desayuno y pedí que me lo descontaran del precio ya que no podía hacer uso de este servicio el recepcionista lo único que me ofreció es darme un sándwich frío y fruta para llevar no equivalente para nada con el precio del desayuno. Cuando hice el check out a las 5:50 no nos ayudó nadie a llevar dos maletas muy grandes al coche y había unas escaleras por medio que tuve que bajar yo las dos maletas y llevarlas al coche para evitar que lo hiciera mi mujer. Fabulous stay at this beautiful hotel! + My wife and I booked Casa Republica Barranco for our first and last night in Peru, and it was the perfect beginning and ending to a fabulous trip! We arrived very late at night, tired from the long journey, and were immediately given a warm welcome. We were asked in advance if we were celebrating any special occasion and I had mentioned it was our 10 year wedding anniversary, and when we were brought to our room we were blown away with a surprise upgrade to an an incredible suite with a beautiful swan and flower decoration on our bed! We weren’t expecting it at all and we were so touched. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept like babies, before enjoying a delicious breakfast and properly taking in the amazing building and artwork (it’s like staying in an art gallery!). We also enjoyed a delicious complementary cocktail on the rooftop terrace, as well as exploring the Barranco neighbourhood which we absolutely loved. When we retur…
