Underwhelmed + The staff member providing breakfast − The cramped room, which for the price I paid was a poor example of hospitality. The dark hair on the shower wall- I have short blond hair, there was no indication of multiple sets of stairs to climb which with a case was a problem. Welcome was perfunctory.

1 nuit ou 2 ça passe. + L'emplacement dans le centre. Chambre propre et confortable. Bon petit déjeuner. − La réceptionniste pas très accueillante. On a l'impression de la déranger plutôt qu'autre chose. Ne faites pas de machine à laver chez eux, le local est salle et en désordre. L’hôtel et les clients utilisent les mêmes machines. J’ai dû sortir les affaires de l’hôtel pour sécher mon linge car personne venait les récupérer. Le sèche linge était sale, on a du le nettoyer avant de s'en servir.

We will definitely being staying there again when we return for our annual visit to Wanaka + Room was a little difficult to keep warm and the bed was a little lumpy. But general facilities in the room were excellent and the morning breakfast (which we paid to have included) was excellent in the general dining area. The staff were extremely friendly, the Spa was great, and we loved the lounge area for reading and chilling out, whilst snacking on cup-cakes left out for guests to enjoy. − The breeze coming through the bottom of the door was unfortunate, and didn't help in keeping the room warm (noting we were in Wanaka in the middle of winter where it gets below zero overnight).

Great, would stay again! + Lodge was very cosy and cute, we very much enjoyed our stay here - we actually ended up extending our stay another night because we loved it so much. Very close to the town centre and shops by foot, parking available at the front or side street near by. Room and bathroom was pretty standard - nice, neat and comfy. Spa booking system was also great so you didn't need to share with other guests. Breakfast options were limited but was cooked fresh and still very lovely. Overall great value for money!

We especially wanted to mention the breakfast - we only mentioned that we needed vegan options once during check-in, but the staff was incredibly attentive and provided us with a delicious vegan breakfast the next morning. We really appreciated that they remembered our preference without us having to ask again. It made our trip feel so much more personal and welcoming."

Great value stay + The location is walkable to the busy area, the room is quite quiet. Coffee and teas are available at common area which is good. Plenty of parking available. When we heard loud music from common area (directly above), things get resolved quickly. The bed and pillows are great. − Nothing

Friendly and comfortable lodge + The breakfast is excellent, and the staff are all very friendly. It's a lovely place to stay and the rooms are comfortable. − Quite a bit of light leakage into the rooms which would be an easy fix with bigger/better blinds.

Very comfy + Great location, bed comfy, staff very friendly and helpful. − No fridge in room and could hear people walking around and talking. Not very soundproof.

Comfortable but noisy. + Nice room with a comfortable bed, cozy lounge area with good free amenities, friendly staff. − I was in the top room next to the main road and the road noise jn the room was very, very loud. This room should be noise-insulated better or rented out at a discount to the other rooms.
