Great place. Highly recommend. + Location is fabulous, being right in the middle of Nelson. Easy walking distance to all the restaurants and shops you want or need. Room was well appointed and the bed was comfortable. Having your own washing machine and dryer in the unit was also great considering we were staying for four nights. Staff were very friendly. Highly recommend. − Nothing.

Great stay in a great location + The location of the hotel was great, nice and central and a street with dining options just around the corner. The carparking was a bonus and at only $15 per night I felt that it was reasonably priced. Room was a good size, with a full kitchen. Clean, tidy and comfortable. I was greeted warmly by reception staff as well.

Good but let down by a simple issue. + Great central location, nice room. − My co-worker accidentally closed the door leaving his key inside as we were going to dinner. As the reception closes at 6pm, he had to pay a $50 fee and wait 20 minutes for someone to come from off-site to let him back in. This sort of thing is a common occurrence and it's a shame there's not a simple solution that doesn't cost 30% of the night's accommodation to resolve it.

Recommend as the place to stay in Nelson. + Hotel is situated in the middle of the CBD and so it is super simple to walk anywhere you want. The room has great facilities and we could be self-sufficient which is exactly what we wanted. Loved the washer/dryer in the room which meant we could do our laundry when we wanted. Bed was great and very comfortable and had a great space for me to work at the desk. Parking onsite but you do need to book. − Nothing, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

It has been a relaxed and fruitful stay for participating in the Nelson arts projects for the 2 year + Location − Location close by all the musea, galleries, RMIT, colleagues and arts council for our exhibitions, projects 2026/2027

Im unsure how this hotel thinks i enjoyed my overall stay + Good location, easy check in room was very clean. Was suprised they charge for carparking. − Ive stayed in a few quests and actually lease a quest apartment in the north island. This one was quite disappointing. Tiny tv on a grey wall made it very hard to watch, bed was rock hard and pillows very thin. (Personal preference) Front door to the building is left open and counter is not staffed in the evening so any check inns find there key on a envelope on a table this is not very secure in my eyes. Any other guest ive stayed in requires and keycard to gain entry to the building and elevator. I wont be staying here again.
