Won't stay again + The bed was comfortable. − They forgot my paid-for breakfast, had no wifi instructions, no room booklet, and no water besides tap. The desk staff was short-tempered and unwelcoming. No mention of on-site restaurant or if you needed reservations. I showed up tired and hungry and was not able to settle in until hours later because of the lack of information provided.

− I booked through this site, however, the motel charged me for the price of the room instead of the bond and didn’t believe me when I said I had been double charged. Booking.com was very helpful though and rectified this for me.

It was comfortable, but I have stayed in better at the same price point. + The room had pretty much everything I needed - iron, bathroom facilities, late check in etc. Location is great in the CBD and close to everything you might need. I was able to store my suitcase during the day (after check out) and pick it up later. Taxis were able to find the hotel easily. − One of the milk containers in the fridge had already been opened. Light switches hard to find and plugs by the bed all in use so had to remove something to charge my phone. TV channel selection was poor - no sports or movies so I ended up watching shows on my phone instead. Wifi was hard to find, no clear directions and had to download the hotel guide to check.

Average. + Location, central Auckland − The Parking situation. Room advertised as having parking...... turns out it's not only a first in first served basis, but also incurs an extra fairly substantial fee. The room needs better lighting. Trying to read anything was challenging - even at the desk seemingly put there for doing work. I also felt like I was having to find my clothes and get dressed during a power outage. Street noise even from the 11th floor meant needing to sleep with ear plugs all night.
