Living with wildlife + Really enjoyed the hotel n pool area. The restaurants were very good can’t complain. The breakfast was the best. This is our sixth time at an Iberostar we still like them. However, I must say because they keep increasing there costs I don’t think they are worth the value. The two negatives was the police station with machine guns on the beach Because of this we stayed away from the beach is it would be unsafe if there was a situation if the police had to engage The final concerns are all the wild animals on the resort. It is a problem and accident waiting to happen between diseases, parasites, Rabies etc. The animals need to be live trapped and relocated to their natural environment. Eating off resort plates isn’t natural Many more resorts to choose from will be really hard to return

Best kids club + Our 6-year-old daughter had the most amazing time at the Kids' Club! She didn't want to leave and kept asking to stay all day. The staff was wonderful, and there were so many fun activities to keep her entertained. It made our vacation even more relaxing, knowing she was having such a great time. We highly recommend it for families!

Great fun for 7 and 11 year old + Kids had an absolutely great time, super secure set up, whatsapp messaging and just fun activities- all day. My 7 and 11 year old were able to stay together as well in a group.

Iberostar kids club + "Best kids club ive ever been too" - quote from my 11 year old daughter who has been to numerous kids clubs previously. Staff very friendly and professional, easy to communicate with and felt very safe.

2nd time here + Great staff, nice clean rooms, great pools and grounds. Restaurants are good, accommodated our large party of 40. Food is better than avg for all inclusive. Been there previously and only disappointment was ocean. Sargassum was prevalent and water was no longer crystal clear blue- not iberostars fault.

Great Family Vacation + Our family of 5 (3 kids - 12, 12, and 15) loved our 4-night stay at Iberostar Lindo. I would give this resort a 4.5 if it let me :-) We used a travel agent to find the best place for us given our budget and needs. There are MANY resorts and they all have pluses and minuses. Our goal for the trip was to relax and swim with whale sharks. We did that and then some. Mila was a lovely concierge and was very responsive to questions during our stay. They also have an app with 24 hour chat service that was helpful on multiple occasions. If you are looking for beach views, this is not a good choice for you. This is more of a rainforest vibe and you walk through the mangroves to get out to the beach. The beach is lovely, though this time of year, does have a lot of sargassum. Beyond disappointed + Our family travels 2-4 times a year, so we completely understand that sometimes things go wrong. What can make or break a vacation, however, is how a hotel or resort responds when something does go wrong. Our family had THREE "Premium Near Pool" rooms and, unfortunately, one of them had bed bugs. We had photos and videos documenting what we found. After I found the building concierge, due to no help from the front desk and showed the pictures and videos of live bugs, the boys were moved to a different same category room. A concierge, and later a manager, acknowledged to us that the room had bed bugs and was under quarantine. Iberostar can respond they found no bed bugs, but this mom saw them with her own eyes. More importantly, I watched my son deal with the aftermath. He was in pain from the bites on his feet and ankles and was unable to fully enjoy our vacation. At no point did anyone from management reach out to ask how he was doing or whether he needed medica…

Another 5-Star Vacation at Iberostar! + We visited Iberostar in early August and the weather was absolutely spectacular. It only rained once during the early morning hours; the rest of the days were beautifully sunny with clear blue skies and an average temperature of 35 °C. It started getting cloudy at the end of our holiday. The Beach and the "Rocky" Rumors: Overall, the beach was in excellent condition. I know social media currently shows a lot of images regarding sargassum, but the hotel's beachfront was remarkably clean. There was a minimal amount in the water, but it was negligible (you can check out on YouTube at @travelovich). I previously read a review claiming the entire beach was covered in rocks, which is simply not true. Out of the resort's entire extensive beachfront, only a tiny section on the Mar/Beach side has a few rocks; the rest is pure, soft sand. We love Star Camp! + I went on vacation to Iberostar Selecrion Paraiso Maya Suites with just myself and my two daughters (7 & 4) and they absolutely loved Star Camp! Every day there were new fun activities all day long. They went in the mornings, then again we watched the show in the theater and they always had fun games with the kids to join on stage, dancing playing and being silly. They are well organized with live updates in WhatsApp so you can always be in touch with the coordinators too. Highly recommend, especially good for parents! ;)

Amazing family holiday, highly recommend with a teenager + Brilliant holiday with my husband and 13 year old. Daytime entertainment - was great for all of us, plenty to get involved with or people watch which at time was just as entertaining. Pools - loads to pick from buy we based ourselves at the main pool as it was near our room. Near pool room - defo recommend so it's convenient as the complex is large, we were in block 52 next to the main pool, clubhouse, towel and bar Iberostar App - perfect to you know whats going, can book your restaurants, know when your rooms been cleaned, book a golf cart to help with luggage, just makes life easier. Slides, wave pool and lazy - I mean what's not to love! Foam Party also a big hit. Nice to have music playing everyday giving great vibes as well as having occasional live bands.
