Fun times + I had an amazing stay at Barceló Puerto Vallarta—truly a 5-star experience from start to finish. The resort itself is beautiful, clean, and perfectly located with incredible ocean views, but what really made this trip unforgettable was the outstanding service. A special shoutout to Mosses Rodriguez, who delivered top-tier service the entire time. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect—always attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly. It’s rare to come across someone who takes so much pride in their work, and it made a huge difference in our stay. The staff overall was excellent, the food was great, and the atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. If you’re looking for a place where you’re treated like a VIP, this is it. I will definitely be coming back—and I highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Puerto Vallarta!

First time visiting Mexico, first time in all inclusive + The staff was excellent and very friendly. The bartender named Alfredo at the bar was awesome. He made great drinks and had great customer service. Very outgoing and accommodating.

Spring Break 2026 + Overall the property was beautiful and maintained very well. The staff was outstanding, the service was excellent! The food and drinks were very good. The only downside was the AC was not working very well, while we were not miserable we could have been more comfortable. This was a minor issue. The biting flies/bugs were horrific and spray should be brought. They had spray at the towel area but the bugs still persevered. Altogether, this was a tremendous family vacation and well worth our money!

Barcelo + This was a great resort but a little outside of PV - 30 min cab ride to city. Great resort to stay at but not convenient to go into town. But, across the street (1/2 mile) from the PV Zoo - which was great. Also, Jack Sparrow boat rental - on site - great - short 1.5 hour snorkel tour with a great boat and a great guide at a reasonable cost.

Vacation + Best hospitality from the pool bar and spa service. The room was so fresh and the beds were very comfortable! The fact that our room had two restrooms was also amazing.

Great staff and service, could use updating + The staff were excellent. Our room had a great layout but the shower was very finicky, the air conditioner did not work in the secondary bedroom. One of elevators in the second tower only went up to the 8th floor so we would have to get out and walk up a flight of stairs, which wasn’t a huge deal just annoying. Pool side service was amazing! The drinks and food could be better. Overall a great family trip. I would not recommend to close friends and family but for a budget friendly family vacation it’s worth the trip

Great getaway! + Moises was amazing bringing drinks! Always happy to help and joke. Resort was really good. They have an adults only pool that let's you get away from the splashing and noise. Food was great and the rooms were clean! Would definitely book this place again for a family vacation.

Food sucks, employees rock. + Apolonia and Sylvia took really good care of us at the breakfast buffet. I’d recommend not skipping on the juices, smoothies, and omelets. Everything else is underwhelming to put it nicely. What the food lacks in flavor the atmosphere makes up for.

Nice beach + The hotel has a direct access to the beach and that was the most convenient, so you can enjoy the beach all day as well as the pool. The beds are quite comfortable and the room we had was very spacious and very clean. Most of the people serving in restaurants and cleaning staff are very nice and polite. The food was surprisingly good (despite the reviews I read before going on booking)! They had a lot of variety, specially for dinner they had different “themes” (Asian, Mexican, etc) and in general the food was nice. − The hotel itself is outdated, like early 2000s but it’s very clean. The mini fridge doesn’t cool much the drinks and is only refilled once a day. If you want extra mini bar items you need to pay extra, even though is an all inclusive hotel. If you want room service, also is an extra cost. The check out is at 12 which is “normal”, but I had a later flight and this is the first time I had to pay extra (around 20€ per person) to continue using the premises…

Definitivamente volvería a este hotel + Me gustó que el hotel está alrededor de mucha vegetación, me gustó sus albercas, la playa es hermosa, las habitaciones son amplias y muy cómodas − Lo que no me agradó tanto fue la comida del buffet, creo que pueden mejorar eso, todos los días era lo mismo

Gran hotel para el buen descanso y el mejor comer + Es un hotel pequeño, con lo suficiente para divertirse y pasar unas buenas vacaciones. No tener que esperar carros de golf para desplazarse es de agradecerse. Las instalaciones se notan ya un poco viejas, pero limpias. Nos tocó ver tortugas desovando. − No es un punto malo para el hotel, pero si es preciso saber previo a visitarlo, que la playa es bonita, en algunos tramos pedreguda, pero el oleaje es constante y un poco alto.
