Sehr gutes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal. + Das Frühstück überhaupt das Essen schmeckte hervorragend. Der Zimmer sowie der Poolboy machten alles für unser wohlbefinden. − der Lärm und das spritzen von den Kindern am Pool.

Magnifique emplacement dans la verdure et belle piscine + C'est vrai que l'emplacement est magnifique avec une très belle piscine au bord de la plage. Le personnel est à l'écoute et très convivial. La chambre est belle, avec une salle de bain moderne. Le buffet du matin et soir est très varié, avec des produits locaux et internationaux. Nous avons eu un petit soucis avec un repas à la carte, mais tout a été réglé a notre entière satisfaction et nous remercions encore la direction et son manager pour sa compréhension et ses excuses... Nous avons que des recommandations à formuler pour ce très bel hôtel, de première catégorie. − Pas de prise pour le sèche cheveux dans la salle de bain, difficile de se coiffer dans l'espace de la chambre vers une prise compatible..

+ Localização num sítio magnífico de grande beleza natural. Comodidades do resort com elevado padrão. Staff de grande simpatia e muito prestáveis. Quarto muito confortável e como elevado nível de cuidado na limpeza. − AC do quarto pré-programado e de difícil configuração. Menu à la carte pouco diversificado sem pratos de entradas. Ainda que a praia seja pública, considero que o hotel deveria fazer um esforço e promover limpeza do areal que se apresentava com bastantes plásticos trazidos pelo mar e deixados por gente local, o resort só teria a ganhar com iniciativas de limpeza e educação social.

Perfect and great value for money. + Great value for money. Fantastic gym at the Avani (interestingly it is better than the nearby Anantara gym). Nice to be able to share some facilities with the Anantara. Staff is very friendly. − Sometime service can be slow but made up by the fact that everyone was so friendly and genuinely wanted to be helpful. Maybe I’m just impatient 🥲

A relaxing and enjoyable stay with excellent Sri Lankan cuisine, outstanding staff & good facilities + We had a wonderful stay at Avani Kalutara. The location is beautiful, the property is spacious, clean, and very well maintained, making it a relaxing place to unwind. The food was excellent, especially the Sri Lankan dishes. The crab curry served with Sri Lankan roast bread was absolutely delicious and a standout meal during our stay. I highly recommend trying it. The staff were consistently friendly, professional, and very well trained, providing excellent service throughout our visit. Another highlight was the 24-hour gym, which is well equipped and convenient for guests who like to work out at any time of the day. Overall, a fantastic stay, and I would happily recommend Avani Kalutara to anyone looking for a relaxing beach resort with great hospitality and excellent local cuisine. − One area for improvement is the room description on Booking.com. perfect for R & R and a relaxing time by the pool + I really appreciated the room service; very attentive and the room got checked more than once a day for cleanlyness and if we had enough drinking water. − the possibility of renting the room for only part of a day was not advertised. And when we tried to ring the hotel in advanve the phone line was out of order.
