Elegant, nice hotel but, our room was very cramped. + It is very stylish and very nice looking. Good sized breakfast room, and nicely decorated. − We were given a handicap bathroom with everything very low. One shower head did not stand upright in its holder. The twin beds were very close to each other. It was a small room, nothing like the picture.

+ Die Lage, das Frühstück, das Personal beim Frühstück war sehr nett u fleißig, freundlich beim Check-in. Bequeme Betten. − Zimmer etwas klein, nur ein kleines Fenster konnte gekippt werden. Frage nach Reinigung des Zimmers gleich beim Check-in (3Nächte gebucht)- wir verneinten! Keinerlei kompensation dafür! Bei uns in Österreich bekommt man dafür normalerweise eine kleine Kompensation in Form eine Gutscheins für die Bar etc.

+ Clean rooms, friendly staff, nice coffee machine for a morning pick-me-up. Parking was a bit of a walk, but otherwise a good experience.

Good place to stay in Reykjavik + Nice staff, modern facilities, great views, good breakfast. The Beer Garden is particularly nice. − While the hotel web site states they offer luggage storage, if it is for longer than a few hours they charge per day per bag, irrespective of size. Like everything in Iceland, the fee is expensive. The annoying thing is that the web site identifies that other services are chargeable, but not luggage storage.

Overall, excellent and location was the main choice! + Perfect location for tour pickups and easy walk to shops, site seems 👍. Great coffee making facility, fridge and multiple English speaking tv channels! − No toilet brush, no shelf in shower for holding items and had to leave on floor, consequently everything getting wet!

Good base for city travel. + Location and cleanliness. − Room was really hot at night. Open the window but then you had to shut the blind to block out the light, so a waste of time.
