Good hotel and will stay again + stay again in Pottinger, it’s amazing. Staff is helpful and friendly. This is my relax trip and near hotel had lot of place for develop like Tai Kwun, PMQ ,etc. . The water disposer in room is good but better to provdie like jar or bottle for guest to put in fridge as some time you want cool water.

Great Location, Extremely Comfortable and Outstanding Service + Being a first time traveler to Hong Kong, my priorities were to be on the Island and close enough to all the Metro Hubs (Ferries, Trains, The Peak Tram etc). The Pottinger ticked both these boxes and had the added bonus of being extremely close to the clubs and bars too if that is your scene. I had booked the Corner Suite room and was pleasantly surprised with the size of room and greatly appreciated the extra touches like the turn down services. To note I was a solo traveler but the Corner Suite is certainly big enough to cater for couples comfortably. For me the lasting memory was the exemplary customer service shown by the staff. One evening I was greeted by a knock on the door from the staff with them holding a Bottle of Wine, Cake & A hand written note. They had realized it was my birthday and sent these gifts to my room. I had not mentioned my birthday or reason for my trip when I checked in, hence to see the Hot…

Location, location location! + Stayed here last week for 5 nights and i must admit, this is must be the most memorable stays of all hotels I've stayed at in Hong Kong, and I've stayed at several dozen in my lifetime. Check-in was a breeze and the front desk reception was super kind and helpful. I appreciate that the staff is not judgy, as can be with most establishments in HK, and were quite respectful and kind. The room was immaculate and a considerable size for HK standards, location was prime, and in close proximity to the MTR and all the best rated restaurants and nightlife. Will sure be my new go to place when travelling to HK. Hope to see you all again soon!

Great location. Great service + This lively boutique hotel is perfectly located in a historic quarter of Hong Kong with easy access to some of the best bars and restaurants. It’s also a fairly convenient location to be able to walk to the train station. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.

+ Unbeatable location, only a short walk from Hong Kong and Central stations. Lots of dining options around as well as convenience stores like 7 Eleven (essential as the hotel doesn’t offer breakfast) the room was comfortable and modern and housekeeping were attentive. Would definitely stay again.

Pretty decor in great location + Very nice hotel great location to both high end shops and local shops and restaurants. Very pretty decor. Large Bathroom. Coffee machine and water purifying machine in each room. Very helpful staff.

+ Room was clean, location was very convenient, and most importantly the staff operation was amazingly smooth. After check out, I forgot something in the room but it took less than few mins to retrieve… Also when I asked for the pick up taxi, the staff immediately used her app and it arrived at the front in one minute… thanks a lot Chloe. It was one of the pleasant stays in HK.

Genuinely Warm Hospitality & Thoughtful Service + From the moment I arrived, the reception team made me feel so welcome—especially Nicole and Jessie. They were incredibly friendly and attentive, almost as if they already knew what I needed before I asked. Their genuine care made my stay truly special. Highly recommend this hotel if you value thoughtful service and a restful stay. We will definitely come back.

Don’t stay here if you enjoy sleep + The hotel had a ludicrous policy that if your Privacy sign is on the door after midday they will phone you to wake you up to ask if you want housekeeping. So don’t expect to have a good sleep after midday if you’re jet lagged. I reported this on the first day and was told it was hotel policy to check that you’re OK. I assured them that I was jet lagged, not dead, and could they not phone me at midday if I was sleeping. They said that they would put a note on their computer but exactly the same thing happened the next day. I can understand hotels being concerned if you’re missing for days on end but I have never before stayed in a hotel that assumes you might be dead if you sleep after midday. It is beyond parody that they will phone you to take you up because they can’t knock the door because the privacy sign is on.
