Beautiful hotel! + We loved out room with private pool and gorgeous view of volcano. We loved all the plants on the property. We loved the pool with bar. Delicious breakfast. − Everything was great.

Unique Rooms and Amazing Value + Our entire family loved the idea of being surrounded by the forest and to have great view of Arenal Volcano. Staff was incredibly courteous and friendly, especially Naomi, Chichi and Manuel. The restaurant was amazing and served a very high quality breakfast and dinner! Highly Recommend! − Was not easy to walk around property, it was a bit confusing, but we eventually got the hang of the layout.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nahe La Fortuna. + Lage nahe La Fortuna und den umliegenden Sehenswürdigkeiten sehr gut. Schöne Anlage mit Bungalows. Beheizter Pool mit Poolbar sehr schön. Man konnte auch spät abends noch essen. Sehr freundliches Personal. Das Badezimmer war riesig mit Wasserfall-Dusche und das Zimmer selbst war auch sehr groß. − Unser Zimmer war recht dunkel bzw. keine Aussicht bzw. direkt vor der Terrasse waren meterhohe Pflanzen - was aber irgendwie auch seinen Reiz hatte.

Très agréable + Très grande chambre qui ressemble à des petites maisons. Salle de bain très grande avec 1 douche et 1 cascade d'eau. Petit déjeuner simple mais ne venez pas trop tard car sinon il n'y a plus rien ! − Prix très chers au restaurant. Privilégiez le bar de la piscine Travaux dans certaines maisons Manque de lumière la nuit pour retrouver sa chambre.

Not worth the price! + The staff are kind and helpful, and the outdoor pool was nice and warm. − This accomodation is extremely overpriced for the quality you get. The rooms are dark and damp and lack amenities that you would expect at the price (E.g., no bar fridge). It's a shame they no long have a shuttle from the property to the town as well. There was constant construction at the accomodation, destroying any sense of peace and quiet, and there were large holes dug in the ground with exposed pipes that formed dank pools when it rained.

Best Honeymoon Ever! + We stayed at Mountain Paradise for our honeymoon and it was honestly the best trip of our lives (so far!). The location is absolutely gorgeous with local wildlife such as birds, sloths and armadillos making surprise appearances at all hours to add to the magic of our stay. The staff were an absolute highlight of the stay! They were so accommodating and helpful with excursions and experiences to make our stay so special! They are full of tips and information about the local area offering secret local spots for dinner and hot springs. The only downside of the stay was having to leave! − Visitors may want to note that it is rare to see volcano arenal without clouds at the peak and so if, like us, you are hoping to see the whole volcano, you may want to book in January - April

Great stay + De klantvriendelijkheid. Je voelt je gelijk welkom al bij aankomst bij de slagbomen. Elke dag kon je met de golfbuggy opgehaald en gebracht worden dat is voor een familie van 4 met een baby wel heel prettig. -Er waren niet veel gasten eigenlijk heb ik er geen gezien en toch hebben we daar niks van gemerkt ten opzichte van het personeel. We hebben een geweldige dag gehad en een gratis upgrade gehad van de kamer. Dit was een warm welkom en waren we heel blij mee. − Ik heb geen minpunten om te geven we waren er maar 1 dag en alles was tot in de puntjes geregeld.

Overall we had a great stay, the staff really did make a difference in our stay. + The property is cute rustic. Green gardens and lots of birds I guess when it’s not rainy season you get to enjoy the volcano views. Reception staff was amazing very kind, always helpful and happy to help. They make such a difference. The waterfall shower that we had was really a nice feature made such a difference. The rooms are very spacious so is the bathroom. The housekeeper did create an elephant on our last night in the bed with the towels which was really a cute attention. Restaurant staff is very pleasant. − Lacks maintenance, broken pool steps safety issues couldn’t access it properly. The floor looks worn. The furniture inside could be updated. Install proper door handles inside of the room mine could not close without using the lock. Kitchen is not very practical with no sinks. It is a property where you do need to use the golf cart to access the room they did have a 24 hours service which was…
