great resort with lots of monkeys + Great resort with great staff. The only areas that need improvement are: 1. The dinner food isn't the best. 2. the pool chairs at the main pool area don't match and aren't as comfortable as the adult pool and beach club chairs.

+ The attention to detail with everything (check in, food, rooms, supplying sunscreen at pools) was amazing. Food was incredible and the staff was very helpful, friendly and professional.

+ Middle of nature, quite, good service, monkeys everywhere this is what made different, but family pool small. Restaurant no bad but no so good, bay so many rocks but safe to swimming.

Perfect stay on The Costa Rican coast + This resort was worth every penny. It is absolutely gorgeous. Service is excellent. Beautiful and lush during the rainy season but rains very little on the coast. We used the snorkeling equipment provided there. Booked a surf lesson, cooking class, monkey watching tour, and bioluminescence tour in outrigger canoes. The whole peninsula is very safe with gate guards at the entrance to the peninsula as well as the resort itself. Complimentary shuttles to the nature center, the beach club, and to the restaurants at the other resorts on The peninsula (we had two excellent dinners at the Andaz, one at the dive bar at the neighboring marina, and one at the Prieto beach club with stunning sunset views. My husband and I as well as our two teens all loved it. Would return here in a heartbeat.

+ Property is a bit outdated and needs some updating. Lots of families with kids around main pool and not enough seating. We were family of four with two teenage kids in a room with two queen beds. Only complaint on the room is that there is no separation between the main room and bathroom. Toilet and shower doors are both frosted glass and you can see right through. Leaves nothing to the imagination. Strange for a room with two beds. We hung up towels to cover the doors and survived. The private beach available by shuttle was the highlight in the property. Beautiful beach, pool and restaurant. Food in general was a bit overpriced and it didn’t seem like there were enough options. Meso at Casa de Playa was our favourite but unfortunately closed early and shut down for a wedding on our last night. All in all a beautiful spot on the peninsula but would consider paying more for a slightly elevated experience.
