− The staff could be friendlier. For example, the reception staff wasn’t friendly when we asked for an additional towel and when we wanted to bring the food from the restaurant up to our room. Furthermore, we needed to leave early on our last morning so asked if we could access the breakfast earlier, to which the staff at night said we could, however the next morning the staff told us breakfast wasn’t available early and we had to tell her that the staff the night before said it was okay for us. The rooms were also very hot and the fan didn’t do a good job of making it cooler.

+ Personal freundlich, Küche sehr gut, gute Lage für Ziele wie Interlaken, Grindelwald − Die Zimmer sind im 1970iger Stil, man fühlt sich wie auf einer Berghütte. Unser Bad war sehr, sehr klein und völlig überaltert

Nice location and friendly + Very nice staff, lovely food and drink. Awesome views of mountains − Could have a fridge in the room and air conditioning. Was told they are renovating next year to upgrade the entire hotel. All the best in this endeavour.

+ Bien situé. − Le prix bcp trop haut pour un niveau de chambre qui sont complètement vétuste.

+ Gostei, principalmente, das acomodações e da vizinhança. O quarto onde fiquei era aconchegante, lembrando cuidado e capricho nos detalhes. Fica a 10 minutos, a pé, da estação de trem, por um caminho tranquilo. Vc pode, até ir de ônibus (4 minutos), mas o percurso convida a uma caminhada. Já reservei o hotel para o ano que vem.

Super séjour ! + Vieil hôtel avec beaucoup de charme. Les chambres sont certes "dans leur jus" mais parfaitement propres. La gentillesse du personnel. La place de parking gratuite. Le petit déjeuner très varié. Situation géographique super pour visiter les environs et randonner, loin de l'agitation de Grindelwald ! Wifi gratuit − Peut-être un peu cher (même si ça a l'air d'être les prix pratiqués dans la région...)

Historic home in lovely mountain setting. + Lucky to get a room with balcony and stunning views of the mountains. Staff very heplful. Dinner good. Not much noise from other guests in a historic property. − Breakfast was a bit dull, although the coffee was fine.

A great place to stay in Switzerland you (probably) can afford + Great location near to the train station, where you can begin your journey to the iconic places around, + free travel pass for local transport (like train/bus to/from Interlaken). Nice breakfest with quite a variety of drinks. Good silent place with an awesome view. − I'd mention lack of air conditioning as we were there during really hot season, but wide open windows at night kinda solved the problem for us, so it's just a minor thing.
