Grand Hotel Riga feels more like a «normal hotel» + Parking just outside. Friendly staff − Each room had big spider webs. Incredibly uncomfortable mattress on at least two of the beds. More 1, maybe 2-star feeling.

Décevant + Le personnel est agréable − Pas au niveau d'un 4 etoiles. Décoration vieillotte. La douche n'a pas de protection et donc ça devient vite une flaque dans la salle de bain.. Les matelas sont assez riaides. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas du.tout au niveau..

Not a 4-star hotel – extremely disappointing experience + The bathroom was clean, except for some hair seen in the shower area, − Definitely not a 4-star hotel. We stayed with our small child in a double room on the 1st floor, directly above an extremely loud restaurant party. At 11:30 PM we asked reception to intervene, but were told there was nothing they could do. Even the manager's response was essentially the same. The noise continued after midnight. Soundproofing is almost non-existent: we could hear bathrooms/plumbing from other floors, while our own leaking toilet whistled and repeatedly refilled throughout the night. Parking was effectively unavailable because the few spaces were occupied by restaurant guests. The EV charger was blocked by three ICE cars and, despite reporting it, the hotel showed no interest in resolving the problem, leaving us unable to charge. Breakfast was extremely basic for a supposed 4-star hotel: mainly fried, boiled and scrambled eggs, plus two types…
