Wonderful Winter Stay in the Heart of Bruessel + We had a truly lovely stay at the Aris Grand Place Hotel during our trip to Brussels. From the very beginning, we were welcomed with a friendly and warm reception, which immediately made us feel at home. The hotel has a beautiful, festive atmosphere, especially during the Christmas season. Its central location is perfect — right in the heart of the city — making it easy to explore Brussels on foot. A real highlight was our room with a direct view of the Christmas market, which added a magical touch to our stay. The room was very clean, well maintained, and the beds were extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. In the morning, we enjoyed an excellent à la carte breakfast with table service. The food was delicious, the staff was very kind and attentive, and we especially appreciated the calm atmosphere — no crowded buffet, but a reserved area exclusively for hotel guests in the restaurant. Another plus is the availability…

Unique Hotel in a Prime Spot + Very nice stay at this eclectic hotel with a fun, lively ambience. It is centrally located, just steps away from Grand Place. Plenty of good options for restaurants and shops nearby. The front desk staff was always ready to assist and give excellent recommendations. Make sure you try the restaurant on site. And enjoy the free, live entertainment by local musicians right outside the hotel.

Pleasant hotel experience in central Brussels + We stayed at this lovely hotel for one night. The central location was perfect, the hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and the lively attached cafe was a great feature.

Perfect location + Perfect location, only a few minute's walk from the main rail station and right next door to the Grand Place. Lots of bars and restaurants around. Lovely room and bathroom.

Nice, but noisy. + The hotel itself is lovely. The room was a decent size, new bathroom and clean. Entering through the cafe was fine too, although the images online perhaps mislead you to think that this is the hotel lobby. Our two criticisms would be the lack of light in the room and the noise from outside. We stayed three nights and every night we didn't sleep due to drunk people in the roads outside, the bin collections and building work. Whilst none of these are the hotel's fault, they completely ruined our stay and perhaps the hotel could do more to sound proof the windows to help guests.

Great Location + Great location for the Christmas markets and main events. Nice to be in the old part of town on the cobbled streets. Lots of lovely shops and close to the Cathedral and Railway Station. Our room was comfortable and pleased we could have breakfast at the Hotel before heading out for the day. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Perfect emergency stopover + Our Eurostar train from Amsterdam to London came to a halt in Brussels and my family had to organise its own overnight stay. As I had stayed at the hotel before, I managed to get two rooms booked and took my family over there. Rather than the unintentional delay being a big negative, it became a big positive. My wife and kids had never visited Brussels, and we were able to visit Grand Place along with a nice dinner. The hotel has very nice and helpful staff, and the location is absolutely optimal!

I have nothing but good things to declare + Located quirkily through a Lloyd’s Coffee Eatery in the heart of the city, this hotel has the best reception staff especially Ewa (I think her name was) friendly, helpful and amusing. Rooms had were spacious and clean and everything worked a treat.

Very good location not so good breakfast + Location is very good as it is in Brussels city centre. I was in a single room (yes, they have single rooms with single bed, not a double room with single usage) which was acceptable. The main negative point for me has to do with the breakfast. It is served at the table (no buffet), the options do not include selection of bread and it takes too much time to be served.

Location good + Hotel was clean and in a great location. Breakfast was very disappointing, extremely limited choice. This was surprising as it was served in the cafe attached to the hotel. Those people coming into the cafe to buy breakfast had a much wider choice

Great location, terrible breakfast + The hotel is ideally located , close to the Grand Place. We requested a quiet room and we did get one. We had a good quality of sleep . However, although the breakfast is outsourced by the cafe in the front of the hotel this does not excuse the terrible standard of food and service. Looking at previous reviews should have warned me to not book breakfast with my stay. Although previous residents have been complaining for months , nothing is being done about it. The hotel management response to negative reviews of the breakfast seem to use the excuse that the cafe provides the service not them .

Great Hotel + The room was very clean and it had everything we needed except for conditioner. Not bad for a 3-star hotel though! Would stay again!

Hotel, good. Cafe and food, not so good. + We stayed at Hotel Aris for a week while exploring Brussels. The reception staff were always brilliant, professional, and helpful when we needed anything or had a question. Check in/out was easy, the room was spacious and clean, the bed and linens were also comfortable. The bathrooms featured lovely soaps and lotions from Rituals as well which was a nice touch. We had problems with our kettle which were sorted quickly. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed by the pre-paid breakfast that was provided by their partner cafe downstairs. The Hotel Aris website advertises this location as having a buffet breakfast as it did in the past, however sadly when we arrived we learned that it was an al a carte menu with very little choice (most of the mains were eggs, of which I'm allergic.) This meant for me, I paid the full price for breakfast, and only had a small charcuterie board. The meals were inconsistent and their coffee machine broke …

Very satisfactory + Excellent location (3' of meeting place, 5' from central station), very nice atmosphere, basic but nice, clean and very cosy rooms, good value for money, but rather poor serving of breakfast (bottles of water most of the time empty, coffee not terrific). Will visit again when in Brussels.

Central , but that is where it starts and stops . Photos are very deceptive + This hotel is now rated as 3.9 , that is such an over statement, yes it is central but this is where it starts and stops. Photos makes it look plush , it isn’t , but it is clean. I read such glowing reports , but I wonder did people actually stay here. I would not recommend to any one

Great hotel, great staff, great location! + The room was large and quite comfortable. Even though we were beside a busy square, the room was quiet. So much around there hotel within no more than 10 mins walk The staff were all fantastic, very attentive to our needs The food in the attached restaurant was very good and their breakfast deals for guests we reasonably priced.

Very positive + Loved the hotel staff were so friendly however I think it would have been good to have a buffet for breakfast instead of a set menu
