Excellent value for money. + It’s a very nice hotel if you like the style of a modern hostel. In a very nice neighbourhood but a little far from many sights. − The rooms downstairs are a little bit like monk cells. Little light and no option to open the window.

good Place to stay if you you’re in Tokyo + It has good design features from the outside and the hotel lobby. − The rooms could use an update because they feel less like a hotel room and more like a prison cell; there’s just a tiny window, and the light concept is rather steril and unfriendly.

Convenient neighborhood hotel but quite small + The location is unbeatable if you want to stay in the heart of Shimokitazawa but also be just slightly off the main drag so that you are in a quieter nook. The staff was super friendly and I appreciated their attention very much. I also really love the ability to rent vinyl records and play them in your room, that feels really hip and integrates you with the local community of audiophiles. The cafe and night bar were really nice too. I loved being able to walk right downstairs for a strong latte. The sidewalk in front of the hotel is great people watching. Super close to the train station and all kinds of izakayas and music bars. The hotel does have laundry too. − For the price I thought there might be a slightly bigger lounge area to hang out in. The front was cute but often full of people and so you could only sit outside where it was quite hot. The rooms were very sterile and just white walls, so it felt like a student dorm room. I wi…

Great Shimokitazawa spot to get cozy with the neighborhood + Wanted to try Shimokitazawa, and this property did the job very well. Well located, great vibes, simple rooms but with quirky touches like a vinyl player and a cool balcony, all at a reasonable rate for Tokyo-standards. − No breakfast and F&B options FYI, but the property served the purpose of giving us a base in the lovely, peaceful and charming Shimokitazawa area, which anyway has a ton of F&B options at walking distance. Coffee shop at the lobby also gave it this hip vibe and offered a good place for snacks and drinks.

Great, stylish hotel but affordable hotel in the heart of a super fun neighborhood. + Fantastic location, excellent coffee & bagel place in the lobby, and super friendly & helpful staff. Also loved having a record player in our room. − The rooms were a little run down, but the vibe was stylish and affordable.

+ Die Lage ist toll. Das Hotel ist insgesamt schön und es ist alles verfügbar. − In den Zimmern fehlten mir Ablagemöglichkeiten, dadurch war es etwas eng. Aber man kommt zurecht.

It's a good vibe, not very convenient in the room.l and extra charge for late checkout and lost key are too much. + Location is good and the vibe in the lobby is cool − The room cannot hold even 1 open suitcase and there is no real closet. The check out is too early and if you need late check out there is a charge. Also, we lost one plastic key and were charged a big amount for a piece of plastic.
