Was disappointed, we planned this for our Son’s 30th Birthday. + The tiki bar and music was nice. Hilton Head island is beautiful. − The Resort is old and it shows. Rooms, Hallway and common areas in need of cleaning. The pool was extremely warm due to weather. The pool is too enclosed by cabanas and does not allow for an ocean breeze. Restaurant price was high. Waite staff and Bartenders need to be friendly and courteous.

Fab place to enjoy a vacation on HHI.. + Great place to take a holiday…the staff were great, the hotel was great, the pool area was great. The tiki bar was brilliant with a great choice of food and drinks and the live entertainment was great too

Don't Stay Here + Location is very good. Hotel is very dated. Tiki Bar is pretty good - good live music. Google search recent crime near and around this hotel before making a reservation. We used Credit Card points to stay here. When I checked in, I had to initial and sign what daily rate was (which points covered). I specifically asked if all charges were covered (resort fees). And I was assured all charges were included and covered. There was no mention of a daily parking fee when I checked in. Nothing. We check out and there is a daily parking fee that will not be waived. I was not provided any information when checking in on additional charges and specifically asked.

Anniversary Trip + The staff was very friendly. Quick to solve any problems or needs that arose. The staff at The Porch was extremely friendly. Great food!

Not worth the trip + Based on the site information you would think they would have updated the property as a whole - the rooms are dated and every corner has rust or is a buildup of gunk. There are no balconies or windows so the air is damp and stale. Our ac whistled the whole time we were there too. Proximity to the beach is great, but not worth the money to stay in a hotel that seems to never thoroughly clean the place.

+ We liked the Amenities, Pool Area, Tiki with music and proximity to beach. Also Location area is walking distance from dining and stores. Really excellent amenities and location. − The Hotel hallways and rooms were not what we expected. They are really simple and basic. Everything needs upgrade, bathrooms are small and needs upgrade as well

I love the beach house. I will be back again. This is where my beloved Husband love vacation too. And it will always be + The surrounding and right at the beachfront. − The cleaning staff’s did good with cleaning the first 2 days with the trash and towels after the that it said we put do not disturb tags on the door which we didn’t. And the trash weren’t taken out to be removed on the third day. But we leave tip after we leave. But overall love the stay.

This is the first time we have stayed at Beach House. We come to H.H.I every year. Location! + The location is incredible. The beach is amazing. − I like to do my hair, put on make-up in a mirror. The only place to do that was the bathroom so essentially two could not be in the bathrrom at the same time. Maybe a make-up mirror? Extra outlets?
