+ Front desk was nice for the first 30 seconds. − Check-in system being down was a major inconvenience. Other properties that had printed there guest lists the night prior for that day seemed to have no issues getting checked in, but this property did not have that. Will find a different set of property chains to stay on.

Awful customer support + I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough that I feel others should be aware. I redeemed Hilton Honors points for a stay at the Canopy by Hilton Boston Downtown months in advance. Before our trip, the credit card on file became invalid because of fraudulent activity—something completely outside of my control. On the day we traveled, Hilton sent a notification only a few hours before canceling our reservation. Unfortunately, we were already on a flight to Boston and had no realistic opportunity to receive or respond to the email. We arrived after midnight expecting to check in, only to discover that our reservation had been canceled. My family was left stranded in an unfamiliar city with no hotel. Because it was after midnight, the reservation date had changed, making it much more difficult and expensive to find another room. What disappointed me most wasn’t just the cancellation—it was the complete lack of customer servi…
