+ Very friendly staff, spacious gym, great restaurant on ground floor, comfy bed, great shower. − Our Nespresso coffee maker didn't dispense water, the Chromecast feature on the TV kept losing connection, so we couldn't stream, and the blackout curtains don't go flush to the wall (leaving a 6in gap of light at night right by our faces)

Meh + Rooms were bright and well appointed − Hotel had no toothpaste, and staff was pretty rude and unhelpful. Breakfast service extremely slow.

Good location, great bed, super restaurant + Great bed, efficient and clever use of switches to control lighting, view from our room was a unexpected plus, drawers in the bed frame for storage (saves floor space by no having stand alone dressers), generally a good experience − 1) The surface of shower floor was very slippery (the shower has the footprint of a standard bath tub, so its quite large) either grab handles should be installed or the surface needs to be covered with non skid pads to improve traction while showering. 2)The difficulty of finding the "front door" for check in from Michigan Avenue is difficult and advised against attempting ... instead you are asked to use, what amounts to a back alley, to check in, drop off or pick up luggage or passengers, this works but my GPS had a hard time directing me to that address and resulted in making three attempts to find it before finally getting enough information to give the correct directions.
