Overall we had a great time. All the staff were so nice, welcoming and supportive anytime. + Breakfast buffet was so nice. A wide range of options you can choose. − A bit too much family friendly. I expected a little more moody atmosphere. And scenery from the room was not what I expected.

Disappointed − DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Penang – Disappointing stay due to noisy rooms and no follow-up We were assigned a room with a constant noisy machine sound (likely air-conditioning or equipment) and The plaster ceiling was badly damaged from leaking, with obvious water marks. We complained immediately. After waiting a few hours, the hotel arranged a room change. The second room had the same noisy machine sound. We reported it again and were asked to wait. We waited further with no response, no feedback, and no solution. Very disappointed with both the room conditions and the lack of communication or resolution. Expected better from a Hilton property. Would not recommend based on this experience.

+ THE ROOM IS GOOD. I LOVE THE MENU BREAKFAST. MY KID LOVE POOL. WE ARE GOOD TO STAY HERE AGAIN. VERY VALUE FOR MONEY. ALL STAFF VERY FRIENDLY. I LOVE IT. − MAYBE THE PARKING. ITS OKAY BUT ITS A LITTLE SMALL FOR. BUT ITS NOT A PROBLEM I THINK. HAHAHA.

+ All I like about the hotel − However, when I arrived at the hotel, I was told that my booking did not include breakfast. Why did the website show that breakfast was included when I made the payment? I feel that this is very misleading and unfair to customers. I would like Booking.com to investigate this matter and provide an explanation.

+ The room was big since we stayed at king suite type. Kids love the pool & the kids club − The floor looked old. A lot of scratches on it. The bathroom was clogged too. Quite a lot of ‘charlie ants’. Need to monitor your kids for their safety

A relaxing, family friendly stay with good amenities. + The reception was very accommodating to our needs and my children love the complimentary warm cookies. Breakfast spread was good and the kids club as well as the teddy museum was a favourite with my children. The careline agent was also very responsive and helpful. − The breakfast queue during weekend can be quite overwhelming due to the confusion in the queue for registration and the queue for tables. The restaurant counter need to be more efficient in registering guest and transferring them to the next line rather than busy chasing people around. The should be a staff stationed outside the restaurant to manage the breakfast queues. The lifts can also be quite inefficient even when there was no crowd around.

Nasz pobyt był naprawdę udany. Polecam. + Śniadanie- wybór dań z czterech kuchni: indyjskiej, chińskiej, malezyjskiej i zachodniej. Wielki plus za różnorodność i możliwość poznawania smaków różnych kuchni. Obsługa hotelu to po prostu profesjonalizm: autentyczna gościnność i uśmiech. − Jedyna sugestia dotyczy beach baru. Nie jestem pewien, czy jest on częścią hotelu, czy pozostaje pod zarządem lokalnych władz, dlatego nie chciałbym niesłusznie kierować tej uwagi do hotelu. Samo miejsce ma jednak duży potencjał i mogłoby być bardziej atrakcyjne oraz klimatyczne. Potrzebuje tylko ciekawszej aranżacji i przyjemniejszej atmosfery co z pewnością zachęciłyby gości do częstszego korzystania z tego miejsca.

not what i expected + Mattress and pillow was very comfortable. Staff friendly. − 1.One of the room shower floor trap clog,water flow very slow and only one person can shower at the time.next person to shower have to wait for 1hr before the water totally gone. 2. Tile in the main pool came off on the floor inside the pool and it could be danger to anyone. 3. Towel always not available and late,even your operation hours start at 6am. You know it school holiday and you will have full occupancy but fail to ensure smooth operations. 4. Kids club always closed when we went there around 3pm and signage mentioned due to activity at the lobby and like i said before,it's school holidays and you should have two staff on duty. One in the lobby and one at the kids club. 5. Pool cleaning not really clean,we went there after the cleaner complete the main pool but still have sand inside the pool.
