Absolutely stunning + Beyond our expectation of service and hospitality from experienced hotel staffs. We really appreciate the birthday surprise in the hotel restaurant. Breakfast and the dinner were great. The sunset view from the beach in front of the hotel was truly stunning. − I had seen the hotel promoting facebook Ads 1-2 weeks before our arrival date. It’s not great value for money to book via Booking.com. The hotel's own packages are more affordable and include superior benefits. I’m a bit disappointed to find out I paid more.

Better hotels at better value. + Facilities are nice and bars are great. I would recommend visiting as an evening guest more than I would staying there. − Day of our wedding - we check in for 2 nights. My wife is in her wedding dress and nobody meets us or greeted us. Sweating a lot in the heat and no welcome drink. They made us wait in the lobby for 10 minutes for no reason whatsover. I had to carry my own bags in my suit to the room. They gave me no update on the 35 guests we were bringing for the buffet. They didn't have enough tables and chairs for the guests in the end. Thai family left and went elsewhere. We drunk half the bar until midnight, and spent a lot of money and I turn up 3 mins after breakfast finishes (10:33) and they wont even give me a coffee. I walked to two bars on site and they dont serve coffee. Had to leave the hotel to get 2 coffees (wife hungover). Later they offered me a free coffee. The room had coffee pods but no coffee machine. Kiwi in Kaho Lak + Friendly helpful staff Location, to beach and walking distance to restaurants and markets Access to pools was easy Great breakfasts,lots for each nationality to eat. Room spacious, clean and had all you need from toiletries to coffee and tea and free water − After all the hype I was not very happy with the service at Kokulo Beach club restaurant/bar. Not sure if this is owned by hotel or run by another company. We were there for the lobster buffet!. We prebooked early as it's popular. Asked for some seats where we could also get a good view of the fire dancers. We arrived for the dinner and told our table was still occupied by drinkers from earlier in the day and they didn't want to tell them they needed to vacate the table! and we were moved to a table where other people hadn't turned up yet? So not sure if they arrived where would they sit( not a good start) anyway after seated no one came for drink orders or told us about the buffet...we certainly knew when eve…
